This is neither a defense of Coach Ed nor an indictment of the coordinators but as most folks know, Ed has very little to do with the way the game is called. He lets Wesley and Chuck do all of that. Ever see Ed with a headset on? So before we vilify Ed for everything that has gone on let's keep in mind the O coordinator is very young and the D coordinator just moved up about three levels. I'd say let's see about next year before creating a hateful website.

When you think about it.... USD has really had a pretty long and successful list of kickers. Nielsen, Siebel, McCloughlin, Hicks and I'd even though in Cody Butler too.

New turf would be great... imagine if it were red-might not be too far out for comprehension!

I'm afraid the crowd support was pretty poor and it's really too bad 'cause the 'Yotes brought their A game today. First series resulted in a TD and they immediately kicked an on-side and got the ball back. Badda-boom, badda-bing 14-0 Yotes. That's playing to win!

throwin' my two cents in.... the green light for Dante to run as he saw fit was kinda tempered the last few games (well, since Minnesota) to make sure he lasted the season. Well, the season is now at a point of win or lose. Let him run wild!

I thought the attendance on saturday was great. I hope all the rest of the games this season are equal. Now.....those old enough to remember when both teams would be on the same sideline the student side bleachers were a lot more full. Until the Dome can address this and get us closer to what UNI has (basically the same dome but with permanent seats on both sides) we'll have to be satisfied with a 10k gate.

In the absence of having a nickname going forward, I believe instead of the Sioux we could go with The Who.... Sorry, it's early.....

I booked a room as soon as I saw the schedule this Spring! Don't have any seats though, I prefer being on the sidelines with the team....

Here's one to mull over a bit... Let's say the 'Yotes go up to Fargo and notch another "w". Will that be enough to knock the bunnies off of the front page of the Argus sports section no matter how badly they get beaten by Nebraska?
