I hope Jewett is back on the Coyote bench next year and would be fine with whatever chair he is sitting in.

Some great, but somewhat foggy, memories of the student section festivities during the games at Inman field.

That's unfortunate for NDSU and the league as a whole, but I have to say that one makes some sense to me. She can play a lot of places and she's not going to play in an NCAA tournament in Fargo with what State is going to be doing the next couple seasons. Let's not crown them yet. SDSU should be really good next year and likely in the following years as well, but things don't always play out the way one thinks they will.

The Gophers and St Louis Billikens both won last night and will play Saturday in the WNIT championship with the site TBD. Both teams home arena's already had events scheduled so neither is available. I think back to the amazing atmosphere in the Dome 8 years ago when the Yotes won the championship and also the atmosphere in Brookings when SDSU won the title 2 years ago. Really surprised that neither the Gophers or Billikens didn't have contingency plans in place to allow them to host the title game at a site close to their respective campuses.

The Grand Forks Herald article regarding the transfer included this quote from Walker: “I didn't come in knowing them,” Demers said of South Dakota’s staff, led by coach Kayla Karius. “I wasn't recruited by them, so I didn't really gain that as much as I wanted to. That was a huge thing for me coming out of high school in my recruiting process. So just not having that and not growing that really impacted my decision to (transfer).” Shots fired.

....UND for Demers. She chose to be closer to home. I'm guessing she had other options. She will no doubt have playing opportunity there, but I'll guess it's the proximity to her hometown. Is this when we make tampering allegations, like a certain UND color commentator did ad nauseam when Paul Bruns moved from UND to closer at home at USD??

Sounds like Hendo is out of the picture at Washington State, but he was in strong consideration per this article from a Washington State fan site. All April Fools Day speculation aside, it appears that even if Hendo stays at SDSU for another year, he already has one foot out the door.
