A website shows New Mexico plays Sam Houston State that day, are we sure it isn't New Mexico State they are open that day? Just checking Could be playing New Mexico on Sept 24 as both the Yotes and Lobos are open on that date.

anyone know the size of the current board in the dome? Just trying to picture how much bigger the new one is. Is there any plan to move the old board to the south end of the dome above the new club area? From the info I could find, the current video board is 17' x 29' plus the scoreboards on each side. The new video board will be 17' x 56.5' and the scoreboard information will be displayed as part of the video board.

To the greatest football player in Coyote History and a man who has given a majority of his life to The University of South Dakota as a player and coach...Thank You! www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhyIAU35WdEI don't think I would call him the best player in Coyote history although he was a very good player for USD. There were other players that went on to have careers at the professional level that would be considered at worst on his level but more likely above his level. He is definitely missed as a player but as a coach he could never really get it done and never really deserved to be in the position that he was in but that is no fault of his own rather was the fault of those that allowed him to continue to be in the position he was in. Hopefully he will go on and discover himself as a coach in another program. It was long overdue that he move on from USD. I am thankful the offense is going in a completely different direction as the change is badly needed. Why do you feel the need to post crap like this?

The results of the SDSU - Weber St game has zero bearing on the Yotes performance tonight. But since you bought it up, SDSU played without 2 of their starters tonight as Marshall & Bittle are both out with injuries.

I am not sure how statistically accurate RPI by conference rankings are, but FWIW the Summit League is now up to #9 of 32 conferences.
Some other conferences are Mountain West #10, Missouri Valley #13, MAC #14, Horison #15 & Conference USA #19

I would be 100% onboard with leaving Wes on staff as OC. He would certainly help with continuity and giving Wes the opportunity to learn under one more head coach would definitely put Wes in a better position to land his dream job a few years down the road.

Interesting times for the current staff at USD. Hopefully things work out great for all of them, especially those that bleed Coyote Red.
