If they keep winning they could play in this order: Creighton, Minnesota, Nebraska and Iowa

AJ has been contacted for a number of high major jobs. He's either waiting for the right one or he's content for now. Not sure which one it is. Probably both. Which high major jobs has AJ been contacted for? I define high major as Big 10, Big 12, Pac 12, SEC, ACC, Big East and American.

There is no denying that USD's fan base is at large mostly white collar workers and SDSU is mostly blue collar workers/farmers. It is significantly easier for their fan base to make games on Monday's and Tuesday's and buy all session passes knowing they can make all the games. their alumni base is also significantly bigger than USD's. There is no denying that. People in a professional setting get very limited amounts of PTO and if you have kids you need to save as much as possible for them getting sick etc. Before you tell me I do not "get it" I come from a long line of family who farms. My dad still does and requires a lot of help doing so. I am back all the time helping as he is older. He still owns the original farmstead that my great great grandpa acquired when he immigrated from Germany. I have just as much pride in farming heritage as you but lets call it what it is and that is exactly as coyotecrazie5 said. Farmers have a significantly easier time making it to the games because of their winter "schedules". Grain farmers - yes Livestock (cattle) farmers - no (many have just started calving season, which is a 24 - 7 work schedule)

Anyone else see Coach Moose's tweets with video of the FB running workouts this morning? Outside in the snow...... Love this staff. If someone knows how to post that on here, I think people would like seeing it. vine.co/v/iJ0VPl7T1uH

The following is from the Argus Leader article regarding State College's 2016 recruiting class:
"Late in the recruiting process the program was approved to offer cost of attendance money to some recruits. Stiegelmeier suggested that was done so on a largely case-by-case basis, but it sounds as though they’ll be offering full cost of attendance (as NDSU and USD do) sooner than later."
Interesting that this info doesn't come out until after SDSU has received the signed letters of intent for their 2016 class.

Kind of ironic that one of the last members to commit to this years recruiting class was Jake Richardson, who was the subject of the very first post on this thread back on April 17, 2015.

No one time suspension to allow multiyear contract, but Regents to instead work on a permanent fix.
Regents to support legislation allowing alcohol sales on campus. Legislation has not yet been voted on. Will be discussed at a committee hearing this Thursday.

Here are the draft minutes from the 1/29/16 BOR meeting regarding the proposed suspension of the prohibition on multiyear contracts to allow for offering a multiyear contract to Coach Nielson. The minutes also contain some discussion regarding SB 102, introduced by Brookings senator Tidemann, to allow the sale of alcohol on campus for certain events. A summary of the minutes regarding these 2 items: (1) Suspension of prohibition on multiyear contracts - recommendation of legal counsel was to suspend the prohition to allow USD to offer Coach Nielson a multiyear contract. Board voted to deny the suspension. (2) Alcohol sales - board decided at December board meeting to not submit legislation repealing the prohibition of alcohol sales. Board now votes to support SB 102 to repeal the prohibition.

Safe bet that, within the next 15 months, SDSU will have reason to thank USD for getting this policy changed.

The below tweet is from the defensive coordinator at State College in a #FEEBLuE attempt to mock the USD #FeaRed campaign, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised as that is #TheStateWay

I agree that it is always best to error on the side of caution and also that recruiting is best left to the coaching staff. My only purpose in asking the question was to find out what the rules are and to provide a forum to make sure others were also aware of the rules.
Even something as small as liking a tweet could be a violation based on the following excerpts from A GUIDE TO NCAA REGULATIONS FOR USD SUPPORTERS
"As a booster, you are specifically prohibited from:Making any recruiting contacts with prospects or their relatives. This includes telephone calls, letters, e-mails, text messages, any online contact including chat rooms or social networks like Facebook, facsimiles, along with any face-to-face contact either on or offcampus."
"You may not contact a prospective student-athlete to congratulate him/her on signing a National Letter of Intent to attend The University of South Dakota."

How much interaction can a fan have with a prospective recruit via Social Media? Does the answer vary depending on whether you are a booster club member or not? For example on Twitter, if a recruit tweets they are visiting USD, can you reply to the tweet with any sort of comment? If a recruit tweets they have verbally accepted an offer, can you (a) like the tweet and/or (b) reply with a congratulations or a similar comment?
