Good article about Tyler Ciurej's decision to become a Yote. Also read several comments on Twitter about Tyler. Sounds like in addition to being a fantastic football player he is a great person and teammate.

Wonder if they'll have it operating for the SD All Star game on the 9th. Anxious to see that board up and running.

The Bison & IPFW have won their first round matchups. This week has Charlie vs Durango (UNO's mascot). Can vote on Twitter (see below), Facebook or Instagram.

The 2016-2017 Roster is posted on GoYotes.com. The roster lists 13 names, including the 4 new freshman. My guess is that Coach P will likely add 1 or 2 juco's. This would bring the roster to 14 or 15 and would help balance the roster, as Kate Liveringhouse in the only junior on the roster.

The Bison just picked up a verbal from Lincoln Gibbs from Langford SD. He is the second SD player to commit to NDSU, joining Spencer Waege from Watertown. Hate to lose any SD players to the Bison, but in both these cases their home towns, especially Langford, are closer to Fargo than Vermillion. Langford is 130 miles from Fargo & 244 from Verm. Watertown is 145 from Fargo & 160 from Verm.

Haven't been inside the new arena for about 2 months, but I agree with YFE, it is top notch. The worst seat in the new arena is still better than sitting at mid-court in the front row of the permanent bleachers in the Dome for basketball.

I agree with our admin. Unless it's posted publicly it shouldn't be shared on a public forum. That being said I'm sure the athletic department would value feedback from fans that aren't yet season ticket holders too (I believe this was only sent to season ticket holders). I also agree with the admin and strongly discourage any attempts to circumvent the process. I received the survey and am not a season ticket holder, however, I am a Howling Pack member and to have made it to most home football games over the past several years and also a fair number of basketball games.

Per this Yankton P&D article, it simply appears that Amy Klyse was ready to make a change. I wish her well and offer her thanks for her years coaching at USD.

I have no idea why she resigned. The program could never get over the hump and beat the Bison, but all in all looked like things were going OK. I was searching the Calling All Sports archives this afternoon. (Calling All Sports is a daily 1 hour sports radio show with Mark Ovenden & Mike Henriksen hosting various sports personalities from all levels of sports, primarily from SD. All shows are archived on their website for listening at your convenience). Anyway, their website indicated that Amy Klyse was to be one of their guests on Tuesday of this week, but when I listened to the archived broadcast, they instead had David Herbster as their guest and indicated he was a last minute replacement for Amy Klyse. Apparently, something was up earlier this week.
