UND - win win for both UND & Summit League - 4 Dakota's provided a solid nucleus for the North Central Conference and any logical person realizes all 4 should be in the same conference for all sports
Northern Colorado - have read some comments that Denver looks down on Northern Colorado. However, they would provide a regional rival for Denver. Would also reestablish some old rivalries from the North Central Conference days. Like Denver, they kind of sit on an island when you look at a map of potential conference choices. The sports they offer are much more consistent with those of other Summit League schools. Would like to keep Denver, but if forced to pick one or the other, I would take the Bears over the Pioneers.
Northern Iowa - they have bigger ambitions than the Summit and like most Missouri Valley schools, look down on the Summit. If Wichita State leaves the Valley, UNI will be looking to make a move. Their first choice would likely be the MAC, if they want to move football to the FBS level, but if not, then it likely comes down to the Horizon or Summit. Would love to see them in the Summit.
Drake - see above comments regarding Northern Iowa. Not as desirable as the Panthers, but would be a great geographic fit.

Or another one of my favorite sayings--"Some people(cf) wouldn't be happy if they were hung with a new rope!" That is from the way back vault. It was my Dad's favorite response every time I complained.

Total guesses here, but based on some Twitter movement, I would look for these names to pop up on the assistant coach watch: Kayla Tetschlag - she is an assistant at USF and is a Green Bay alum. Russ Rose - Asst of Dawn's at NKU. Aaron Horn 3 for 3. Nice work.

New Mexico State surveyed faculty and staff about possible conference choices for all sports other than football (which will become and FBS independent) and one of conference choices in the survey was the Horizon League. Anyone can post whatever crap they want on their own blogs, etc. but I ran across 2 blogs that speculated about a possible team to join the Horizon League along with New Mexico State. One blog mentioned Omaha, Denver, IPFW and former Summit League member UMKC among the possible choices. The other also mentioned Denver, Omaha and UMKC and also Oral Roberts. Seems to me that many of the people speculating about conference realignment don't have access to a map of the USA.

Still holding out hope that Rylie Cascio Jensen decides she wants to be a Yote but a possible transfer to USD would be Jess Walter. Originally transferred from Indiana to Northern Kentucky at the end of this season, but decommitted (not sure of correct terminology) after Coach P took the job with the Coyotes

The attached pages from the report prepared by Collegiate Consulting to assist Idaho in their decision regarding what to do with football lays out some interesting speculation.

Don't know if Jennie Baranczyk would leave Drake, but she definitely checks all the boxes.
