Joe Glenn was absolutely handed an impossible situation when he took the job. It isn't fair to look at the overall record for the whole tenure and use that as the measuring stick. It doesn't excuse a 1-8 record against FCS competition in year 3, but there was no way we were going to be contending for a title already either considering our position two years prior. Here's hoping for a massive turnaround and 6-5 record in 2015.

I don't think anybody is in real disagrement with the last two posts. Yes, I agree Joe was dealt a crap hand and his draw cards haven't been much to work with either. The more I think about it the more credit Joe gets for "taking one" for his alma mater and working to build the foundation of the program which he probably won't be able to reap the credit and rewards for when it pays off. It takes a huge guy to do that. Of course, I'm sure Joe, like the rest of us, wants to win now too.
Here's to a big turnaround in 2015.

I researched it a little a year ago or so and I'm not certain but I beleive this year is the first year we receive revenue sharing with the different conferences. That will help catch up. I hadn't heard this before. If that is the case, that is a big deal. I don't know how much money the conferences provide to each school, but I suspect it isn't an insignificant amount.

Record doesn't show what he has and still is doing for this university and the football program.
