K-State fan here! I'm looking forward to having any SD fans in Manhattan! While you are in town, be sure to check out Aggieville....its a GREAT hangout spot! I don't know to much about your team, but I will say NEVER underestimate a Bill Snyder team! The men are very well coached, and a disciplined team! Best of luck to you, and enjoy Manhattan! Regarding Aggieville, what are the musts? Count me in for Keltic Star and O'Malley's (shocker!) www.kelticstarmanhattanks.com/from-the-bar.html

It's gameday Monday and seriously time to start talking college football, specifically our Coyotes. I wished it was Kansas we were opening up with and not Kansas State. Here's my hopes coming out of this game. On the pessimistic side, we get our butts handed to us and the only thing we leave Mahatten with is a large check. On the optimistic side, Kansas State doesn't put this game away till late 3rd quarter or early 4th, and we walk out of there're saying..."yes they beat us, but we went toe to toe with one off he better teams of the Big 12 for 40 minutes, and honestly, that's not all bad."
If we were playing Kansas, I'd say we'd have a shot at beating them, much like the Jacks do. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if SDSU wins that game by as many a 10 points. I won't be surprised if Illinois State beats Iowa, and UNI gives Iowa State a game.
I just want our guys to go down there Saturday night and punch them as hard as we can and see if they play hard and take it to them. We have nothing to lose. I just don't want injuries that started off last year the way it did. As Tyler Starr said back when they played Wisconsin, ..." We're going to get off the bus and punch them in the mouth as hard as we can and see how they respond." I would be very happy if then game was 21-10 late into the 3rd. Honestly, not likely, but possible. If we walk out of there playing hard and respectful, go out and beat Cal-Davis, I think we are going to be ok. If not, then I'm not so sure. I like the "quiet toughness" that seems to be coming out of fall camp. I do think we are better than what people think, the question is are we good enough to compete in the MVC week after week. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Another long offseason is finally behind us and optimism is abound. If the Coyotes can catch KSU off guard and manage to get off to a quick lead and hold that for a while I would be satisfied. I am most anxious to see how our young freshmen play, how our 4-3 looks, and if our pass defense is improved from last season.
I'm going to agree that we have nothing to lose in this one, aside from having our guys get injured. When Kevin Earl got hurt in last year's opener it just seemed like the whole season was off the tracks right out of the gate. I came away satisfied with our performance against Oregon through the first half, I hope to come away satisfied with our entire performance against KSU.

The only thing Im looking for score wise is covering that 36 point spread . Im definitely curious to see how we perform in some of our troubled areas from last year, and also it is always nice to see good performances from your skill players, particularly any freshmen that see the field.

Anyone have information about watch parties in Vermillion? A trip to Kansas isn't quite in the cards for me right now. I am only seeing K-State's web stream as a viewing option (requires $10 subscription).

I had something come up at work, so I'm not able to use my tickets for the game tomorrow. Send me a private message if you're interested. We'd probably have to meet someplace in Sioux Falls.

Just watched Jay's latest installment from Manhattan and read Mick's article on today's game in the Argus and watched his video clip which has a nice interview with Kansas native Aaron Ramsey. Awesome stuff and great coverage. It's Game Day and I am excited. Go Yotes!

Need some assistance: I cannot locate the game on video. I know there's a pay-per-view on KState's site. Is the game on anywhere else? I'm in Watertown and cannot get it on radio either.
Added: got it on 106.3 using Tunein radio app
