Congratulations to Derek Chancellor for being named MVFC Lineman of the Week. Well deserved !! Well deserved indeed! Thought we'd have a shot at Offensive and Defensive too. Oh well, Bouma and Van Ginkel (sp) were at least nominated, as was Bergner. |

Van Ginkel is going to be a star for the Yotes. Two more sacks and a blocked FG against Drake, very impressive for the freshman from NW Iowa.

Between the festivities Friday and the game Saturday this weekend is going to hurt come Monday. A week ago right now I was getting dressed to head over to Bunyan's, get ready for some golf, and some tailgating come Saturday. That was a fun weekend. Bye weeks can be so depressing. I think I'm taking next Friday off to do it all over again for D-Days. It's kind of an annual tradition to take off work the Friday before D-Days. |
