Looks like YSU also has a bye this week. Here is a link to their football page: www.ysusports.com/sports/fball/indexFan Forum: ysupenguins.com/forum/index.php/board,1.0.html They played Pittsburgh tough losing 37-45, beat Robert Morris in OT 21-14, and beat St. Francis 48-3. We should get a better perspective of how Robert Morris is this weekend playing @ SDSU. USD has narrowly lost the last three meetings (13-10 in 2012, 38-34 in 2013, and 28-17 in 2014) including a 4th quarter letdown leading 17-7 until YSU scored three touchdowns in the final quarter. Massey gives YSU a 63% chance of winning, and predicts a score of 26-21.

Massey is going off of very limited data. It probably doesn't even factor in large cutouts of Pelini into it's formula!
We owe Youngstown a beating. The way we let them have last year's game and the painful last minute loss two years ago really left a bad taste in my mouth. The D Days frenzy should be enough to push us over the top against these guys.

Seeing a top 25 team coming to the dome for D-Days is a little daunting, but I still can't figure out why Youngstown is ranked so highly? Best I can come up with is they hired Bo Pelini so they must be good. I get they played Pitt pretty tough, but I think the dome will be too much for them next week.

Can't wait to see how this game goes. I've been cautiously optimistic the last two games because the Yotes have looked as good as I've seen them in quite awhile. The rubber hits the road in less than two weeks and we'll see where we stand against Valley competition. The atmosphere will electric and will give us as much Dome field advantage as possible!

Like you said ,they're rated because they hired Pelini the puke and he brought in some FBS transfers. I'm not convinced.

Don't put stock into the polls, especially so early in the season.

I enjoy the optimism, but Vermillion wouldn't even be their first choice if they were hosting Gameday in SD that day (NDSU-SDSU).

I believe Riley was poking fun at the SDSU athletic dept for trying to get gameday to Brooklyn. I highly doubt gameday will go to any FCS school again, but you can't blame them for trying.
Here are some of the biggest matchups for week 5:
Alabama at Georgia Notre Dame at Clemson Arkansas at Tennessee Arizona State at UCLA Iowa at Wisconsin
Also, it looks like he deleted the tweet.

I would to if SDSU was tying to get them to go to Brooklyn! I can understand Brookings because it will be a top 5 FCS matchup (After SDSU takes care of Robert Morris), ESPN's beloved Bison will be there, one of the biggest FCS rivalries, and it will be the Dakota Marker game. Gameday has already responded to SDSU a couple times: I hope everyone knows that the likelihood of GameDay coming to Brookings this season is slim to none. It's pretty cool that they are at least recognizing SDSU. Also it all started because of the student who wrote a letter to them (which some of the stuff he stated was incorrect).

If ESPN Gameday wants to come to SD next weekend they should come to D-Days which is where most of the SDSU students will also be heading.
