It's already been pointed out that computer rankings don't have enough data and are flawed.

This is a game where alot may be determined regarding how well the Coyotes can run the football. In the Davis and Drake games the team basically dominated the line and was able to win the game by consistantly running without much trouble. Youngstown is likely going to take away the run and if they do and make the Yotes a one dimensional passing team than things get much more dicey. The Yotes really haven't had to be very sophisticated on offense as of yet and may need a creative play book to pull off the win on Dakota Days. If YSU can't stop the run than god help them, they will be in a ton of trouble.

I believe Riley was poking fun at the SDSU athletic dept for trying to get gameday to Brooklyn. I highly doubt gameday will go to any FCS school again, but you can't blame them for trying. Clarification: SDSU's athletic dept is not trying to get ESPN Gameday to come to Brookings. A student started the effort and others have picked up on it just to have some fun.

A student started the idea, but both the SDSU general and athletic twitter accounts have been tweeting up a storm

And what's your point? A student got a personal response back from Rece Davis and other have joined in (including the twitter accounts of SDSU and Daktronics) to get GameDay to come. Even all the local media had stories on it as well as some media in North Dakota. It's not hurting anyone. All they are doing is getting their name out there. I highly doubt people actually expect them to come. It's all for some fun like JackJD said.

ESPN Gameday to Brookings? That would be cool.
Let the 'aggies' have their fun...

We all know it isn't going to happen. People who like to spend some of their time in the social media world are just having fun. I thought Riley Donovan's tweet was good fun too.
(Generally I'm with those who pay little to no attention to Facebook, Twitter etc. --these damn fan message boards are more than enough time wasted on the Internet for me! Where else can I be regularly enlightened by the likes of Coyotefan?!! I think the talk started by the SDSU student is all a little dumb. On the other hand, I watch Gameday every Saturday and I note Reece D did respond. Added: BUT if Gameday came to Brookings, I'd be there with signs!)

Think of how the rivalry would be heightened if USD became formidable and the game had huge implications for conference title and playoff spots, and GAMEDAY came to either school? We have to step it up for that ever to happen, and you have to maintain. I'm with JackJD on the social media stuff. No time for it, nothing but trouble. Lol
Can you imagine being a coach in today's world and having to manage 70-80 some kids on social media? Holy smokes.

For years Coyote fans have complained about the lack of coverage from the Sioux Falls media. This Gameday to Brookings thing is such a non-story, yet I turn on the news last night and there it is. The whole thing is a complete farce. The problem is there are a lot of people watching the news who don't know any better. They see that and think, wow, SDSU is really going big-time. It's a false perception driven by the SF media.
So, how do you think that all looks to us?
Need to get this thread back on topic.

I'll help get it on topic. This game on ESPN3 today? I can watch all the ESPN3 games on my TV with DirectTV and I'd like to watch some of it if possible.

May just be our "vintage" but I cannot imagine herding one's athletes around the social media stuff. And now, most of the coaches are doing it either directly or through an assistant who posts for them.
