We can’t lose sight of the role special teams in this game. It’s so often overlooked, but it’s such a huge part of the game. There’s no better way to punch them in the mouth than huge return, or stuff them inside the 20 on the opening kickoff.

Special teams has looked vastly improved over last year these past two games and it has to continue. Can't wait to get to the Dome tomorrow morning!

Hopefully Paul is healthy and can break one. That would be huge.

There are alot of positives and confidence coming into the game. My two biggest concerns are how the passing game will be when they are forced to come up with big plays and converting on crucial third downs. My other concern will be how the team will react in the 4th quarter in a close game which IMO is a likely senario. In the Davis game there were signs in the second half of a potential collapse. That Bouma run in the second half to stem the Aggies tide was the play of the year so far and if the Coyotes continue to have success that might end up being the play of the year at the end of the year. Without it I don't think the Yotes make it out of California with the W. Will a similar play by South Dakota lead to another win?
I cannot get a good gauge on how I think the game will unfold. The question might come down to how does Davis compare to Youngstown as far as the strength of their teams. I kind of envision either the Yotes winning by about 13-17 or Youngstown winning a one possession game and winning the game on the strength of a good second half. I just don't know which senario might unfold. If the Coyotes run well I think they have a 60-70% chance to win the game but that is if they hold their own against the Youngstown run game. When not having a good feel as to how a game will unfold it's usually a good idea to go with the Vegas opinion as they don't make their spreads lightly. I am going to be the predictable black cloud and go with the Pens 28-20 in a good game.

I'm betting there will be a lot of points on the board. Expecting a final in the neighborhood of 38-35.

I will be watching online and am excited for the game tomorrow. This is probably the most excited for a game I have been in awhile but I will be realistic that the odds are a little over 50/50 that I won't be as excited after the game is over. I have to give a little shoutout to my Minnesota Twins. They still have a punchers change to get into the playoffs. If the Twins can make the playoffs this year maybe all is not lost for the Yotes in the MVFC.

I think a key will be for the Yotes to keep it close the first half. If we play with them the first half and the crowd stays with it, we can take this game.
Never under estimate heart - for the players and the fans, too.
Go get'em Coyotes!

Yotes start with the ball and just miss on a couple of long throws downfield. I am glad to see that the Yotes are "going for it" on that first drive. That can act to open up that running game a bit more. I believe in using the pass to setup the run. Youngstown to start their first possession from their 20.

Well on the Youngstown first drive they impossed their will and went on an 80 yard MVFC type TD drive. The D is going to need to stiffen up. 7-0 Penguins.

Saeger fumbles trying to make a pass and Youngstown picks it up after the football was sitting on the field for a couple of seconds. They run it down to about the Coyote 10 yards line. The Yotes play good red zone D and hold the Pens to a field goal. YSU leads 10-0. It's not panic time but it is time to start getting a bit urgent.

Saeger gets sacked and fumbles again. The Yotes are very lucky that the Pens tried to pick it up and run it back instead of just falling on the ball because there were white shirts all around the ball after the fumble. The Yotes luckily sneak the ball back on the recovery deep in their own territory. Saeger cannot be just giving up the ball like this. If YSU would have recovered it would have been starting to look bleak real early today. As it is the Yotes need to get their thumbs out of their asses.

YSU starts at their 36. Is this a must stop for the Coyotes defense?

It's apparent just by watching the game that Youngstown simply has better skill position players at minimum on the offensive side of the ball. The Yotes look slow in comparison to them. Their runningbacks are very quick and on turf it just emphasizes it even more.
