After this game the Coyotes were actually on a pace to be no better and possibly worse than they were last year. Now that they have won 2 in a row that pretty much guarantees that they will be better than they were last year. This team should be judged by how they finish out the season. Keep in mind that under Joe Glenn the Coyotes are 0-12 combined over the last 3 seasons in their last 4 games of the year. That is another trend that this team will have to reverse. The Missouri State game basically proved nothing as far as whether the NDSU win was a fluke or not. Fluke or no fluke the Coyotes deserve a ton of credit for that win in Fargo and no one can take that away from them. Get to 4-4 like I have been saying all year and the Coyotes deserve to have the hot seat removed under Joe Glenn. IMO anything less than that and the seat should remain hot. My biggest fear right now is that the Yotes finish 3-5 and do just enough to keep Glenn around. Either that or they finish 3-5, Glenn retires and the admin thinks that things are improving enough and hand Beschorner the job. Just because the program has gone 0-8, 3-5 and 0-8 doesn't mean we should lower the standards to the point where another 3-5 conference season is considered good enough.

Again, you make general "arm chair quarterback" comments that make no sense. Look at your very first line. ( on pace to be no better or possibly worse than last year ). How can you be worse? We didn't win a game. Last week we beat the number 2 team in the country on their field. That win alone makes us better than last year. Today we win conference win #2 against a poor team but we dominated them. We are 2-2 in the league.
This team should be judged by now they finish the season. No shit. Any team should be judged on their entire season. That's exactly what I was saying to you when you were calling for Joe Glenn's head after just 2 conference games. Judge him for the season, not two games into it.
Then you say Missouri State proved nothing whether the NDSU win was a fluke or not. Did you watch the NDSU game? I'm betting not. It was NO FLUKE. We lined up and beat them Nothing was given to us, they earned it. Today we beat Mo. State soundly. That tells me we are a team to be reckoned with.
Your biggest fear is we go 3-5 and Joe Glenn stays? So you want us to go 2-6 so he's gone? At 4-4 you'd be happy? At 3-5 your not? Your football logic makes no sense. None. You don't have a clue what goes on in a locker room. If you did, you'd back off a lot of your statements.
So again I ask you, what is it about this team that you are so convinced they aren't any better? Why is it you want this staff to fail so they leave? Don't worry about Joe Glenn, if he thinks his time is up, Herbster won't have to make a decision, joe will do it for him. After all, there isn't a better Coyote than Joe Glenn.

I already explained in a prior post how USD was actually on pace to be worse than last year on how the first two conference games went when comparing scores to last year. Obviously that has changed. You keep saying stuff like "you don't have a clue what goes on in a locker room". I don't really care what goes on in a locker room I care what happens on the field. Games are not won or lost in the locker room last I checked, unless that has to do with half time adjustments which I don't think is a particular strong suit of the Yotes. Yoteforever you say I don't know what I am talking about but I can guarantee you that I have a better idea of the pulse of this team than you do because you cannot think objectively with this program. You let yourself get too emotionally attached and are basically what one would call an extreme homer. When it comes to picking wins and losses I would have slaughtered you on a week in and week out basis since the Glenn era began. You will never pick the Yotes to lose regardless of how the season is going to date. I cheer with my heart just like you do. The difference between you and I is that you also analyse with your heart and I do not. Decisions that are made about the program just simply can't be made based on a heart felt emotion. Of course Joe Glenn is a good guy. I don't think anyone will disagree with you so there is really no point in bringing it up. A nice guy doesn't necessarily make one a winning guy. Often times coaches are jerks that are winning coaches. Look at the two most successful coaches in college football and the NFL. Arguably those two coaches are Nick Saban and Bill Bellichek. Both kind of jerks but they win so do the Patriot fans or Tide fans really care that their coaches are nice guys or not. Who cares. I want a winning coach and I could care less about his personality.

Your analizarion that we are worse than last year is dead wrong. And that's what this debate between you and I is all about. You insist and maintain we are worse. You're flat wrong. Period. We still have 4 games left. You predict we will unravel. I predict we won't. Does that mean you predict we won't win again? I say that's wrong.
Secondly, I can tell you have never been in a locker room because what goes on in there plays a big role what goes on on the field.
Lastly, I'm a Coyote to the bone. You aren't. You are at best a fair weather fan. You claim you have the pulse of this team? Please tell the board what that pulse is.
Lastly, I will pick games against you on a weekly basis with a nice wager. You game? My wife said I could.

When you have played and coached football, you see a lot of things differently than the "arm chair quarterbacks" like you coyote fan. Seriously, quit talking about your picks. No one gives a shit about them! So if we don't win another game, all coaches should be fired? There are some tough games left. Everyone in the conference besides Missouri state is pretty dang even. Everyone thought western Illinois was a terrible loss. Turns out they are pretty dang good too. UNI doesn't have a good record so they are really bad too then? They beat sdsu at home. My point is, almost all teams in the conference are pretty dang close. Anyone can beat anyone on a given day in the conference. And by the way, yes we have gotten worse at the end of the last few seasons. Remember all the injuries by the end of seasons and not having enough depth? That would usually cause a team to get worse at the end of a season. Oh but that is just an excuse right coyote fan? Once again, after being a player and coach, you see some of these things differently. |

Two things nobody gives a crap about on here: (1) score predictions; and (2) live in game posting/updates. News flash - all games are online, IF you can't be in the dome. There are apps and websites that show play by play if you need it. Also the sweet sweet sound of JVG is available over the airwaves AND online from KVHT.
CF stop comparing yourself to YF. He has more Coyote in the nail on his pinkie than you have. Just stop. He played, he gives, he buys season tickets, he tailgates, he travels, he leads. You...don't.

Day in and day out the only thing you prove is exactly how uninformed you are about football and all sports in general. More games have been lost in the locker room than you could phantom. In my opinion, which I know you will not take because you have proved yourself to be that type of person, is that you learned everything you think you know about football from ESPN.
