What a great day to fly a USD flag especially since the neighbor down the street fly the green and gold. I still can't get over how well the defense played today. Van Ginkel is scary good.

I hate it when athletes get injured and I thought about Sam McLaren after that kick sailed through the uprights. Nice day for him too.

I think you are going to be at least a little bit of a Coyote Fan forever after today. I may even cut the Jacks a bit of a break now that the big nasty is cut down to size at least a little bit. I hate to think that they may still win another title though. The Yotes played one heck of a game.

I know you have been suffering as much as anyone. Happy for everyone and I bet CoyoteFan is very happy too. Come on Coyote Nation. The Yote Train may have just hit the rails. Got to get out of Fargo. That Mushroom cloud is getting pretty nasty.

This is a great win for Glenn and the Yote football team. Congrats on the victory in Fargo. There is a reason to play the game. Ask the Leathernecks about UNI. This is a tough conference.

I've been down on Coach Glenn a bit around here, but no doubt have to give him and everyone on the team today props! What an amazing and great win for the Yotes. Couldn't be happier.

Great win today and I am very proud of the boys. They went in and earned that victory today. The glory is all theirs.
Now to our fans, I understand the excitement. I get it. We haven't had something to cheer for like this since the win over UNI a few years ago, even that was muted because we expected to win some games that season. Maybe beating #1 EWU to start the season a few years back is a better comparison. We need to check it a little though. We won, but this over the top enthusiasm for a conference win is the stuff of loser programs. I envision Iowa State fans rushing the field after a win over Okie State, or a "So Proud" speech. Act like we've been there. I'm happy for the win but I expect more wins.
I have very mixed emotions here. Great win, great effort. Where has this been? Where was this on D-Days, or last week? So today is the day we rise up, that's awesome. I'm glad we finally learned. Now I expect that effort each and every week.

Tonight we relish the win. I'm not saying otherwise. I want wins like this to be commonplace. I want our program to expect these wins. We should expect these wins. When you win you say little, when you lose you say nothing. That's what great programs do. Let's not settle and build on this. We have now seen what this team is capable of. This should be only the beginning. I guess I'm thinking like a coach or player now instead of a fan. Time to go back to work tomorrow to put in a great effort next Saturday.
