golfingyote, good call.
Watching Notre Dame try and hang on against the Jacks in WBB on Midco right now. If you can stand Tom and Brad sound like knuckle heads pronouncing Notre Dame is if they are French it is a great game. Good Lord guys, no one in sports pronounces it like that. You sound ridiculous.

Since the start of the 4th quarter last week the Coyotes have been outscored 66-3 and that is only over a 5 quarter span. The radio guys are acting like this is not indicative of the team (which is somewhat true) and acting like this has been a great season or something. 5-6 and 3-5 is not an great season by any means, it's a mediocre season and considering the season ended 66-3 I wouldn't exactly say there is great momentum either right now.
All across the board from the radio guys, to the fans, to the the Argus sports writers, to the coaches this has been considered a successful season in many ways. I guess I am pretty much on a deserted island that does not believe that. This is only a successful season by those that have extremely low expectations.
Time for the Glenn experiment to end.

Go Irish, the Jacks fans have a big enough head already and we don't need it swelling any more. The Yotes would be considered SDSU's red headed step child for the rest of the year if they beat Notre Dame. Luckily Notre Dame is up 9. Hopefully they pull away and win by about 15 or so.

Clearly very tough conditions for both teams. I hope Bergner is OK. As good as Miles is he needed to adjust his style to effectively deal with the wind. Poor early field position helped tip the scale early in this game. To Illinois' credit they got their ground game going and started steadily putting points on the board. Their QB is a talented player. All their defensive front had to do once they had the lead was pin their ears back and jam the box. That made it that much tougher on our offense across the board. Very hard to attempt to catch up through the air on a day like today. I don't look to this game as being representative of the team's effort this season. I see MANY positives for USD across the board. It's been said before but it's true -- this conference is incredibly challenging. Say what you will but I strongly support Coach Glenn. Progress may have at times been incremental but it is being made and I hope he stays and continues to guide this team!!

75-64 Notre Dame beats the Jacks Women. Wheeww! Couldn't be having the Jacks pull off that kind of a win as they are already South Dakota's darlings the way it is. Notre Dame still won by double digits but the Jacks played them tough.
