Do we know right now what his status is going to be to start the season? I haven't heard anything, or maybe I missed something.

FWIW, my picks:
NM - L (but some better pace to make us all excited for the season)
Weber - W
UND - W
YSU - L (too bad we get them early before the players are tired of Bo)
UNI - L (My pick to win the conference and represent in the title game)
Ind St - W
Ill St - W (home team victory, I guess)
WIU - W (WIU may be a train wreck this year, especially at this point in the season)
SIU - L (home team victory again)
SDSU - W (don't have a great vibe about the rabbits this year-plateaued or something it feels)
NDSU - L (Bison fighting for a bye and possible conference title doesn't bode well)
If we can flip either the YSU or SIU game, there is a chance to think playoffs heading into the last two games.

SIAP - Calvin does show up on the current roster and his year is listed as RS-FR. I don't remember seeing his name on the spring roster, but I could be wrong. www.goyotes.com/roster.aspx?path=footballAlso, it appears as if Colby Felts just started following his "new" Twitter profile, for what that is worth. He created the profile April 5 and most photos show him with USD gear on. |

Thought I would chime in on this. I look at the schedule a little differently and rather that predict individual games, I decided to break the season into sections and predict a record for each section since you can assume there will always be an upset one way or another during a season (see last year versus NDSU as the example!).
New Mexico, Weber St, & North Dakota - Record 2-1
Youngstown St, Northern Iowa, & Indiana St - Record 1-2
Illinois St, Western Illinois, & Southern Illinois - Record 2-1
South Dakota State & North Dakota State - Record 1-1
Overall Record 6-5, but a hopeful outlook if we get some important impact from the transfers, freshman, and the changes the new coaching staff brings, we could be 7-4 or 8-3 and playoff bound? Let's hope for the best, the season starts next Wednesday with the beginning of fall camp! Go Yotes!

Day 1 of fall camp, or sometime prior to that? Aug 3rd roster players report Aug 23rd all players report *could be either really. If on scholarship and eligible will report Aug 3rd. If not for whatever reason, but eligible will report Aug 23rd. |

Last February’s recruiting class included three freshmen who will be in fall camp as well as intriguing redshirt Calvin Strong, who could not practice with the team last year while shoring up his academics but will go into fall camp eligible to play. |

Huge? Intriguing to say the least. He is over a year removed from the game, let's see how quickly he picks it back up and adjusts to a higher level of competition. |

Some of the freshman signing class are not listed on the roster. Calvin Strong is also missing. I see some of the missing names are retweeting yote stuff so I am guessing they are still being added.

Jeremy Hoeck said on twitter Calvin will join the team when classes start this fall. Highly doubt he plays this year. I've heard he spent more time working on his rap album/mixes that he did anything football related the past year. His old twitter account seems to back that as well. |

"The roster can expand beyond 95 players on Aug. 22 – the first day of classes at USD." This explains why some of the others are not listed. |
