Poll is crap. If you honestly believe USD is the 46th best team in FCS, or Youngstown 26th, or SIU the 61st, or ISUb the 56th, well, I have some prime property for sale in Florida I'd like to sell you. Polls are garbage but as a fan it's fun to look at sometimes. |

The only MVFC team that is not one of the 25-30 best in the country is Mo State. There are not 46, 26, 61, or 56 better FCS teams in this country than the ones listed there. Frankly, the worst of the MVFC (excluding Mo State) is a conference title contender in every other conference. That includes you too, Big Sky. |

A go right at Clenz all the time. Doesn't bother me one bit. He's actually started saying nicer stuff about USD.
It will make it that much sweeter when USD displace UNI in the conference pecking order.

Not at all. It helps he was a captain last year and was voted a captain by the team again this year. To me it just means he is greatly respected by his teammates. |

I skipped right over the part saying the captains were chosen by their teammates. I'm anxious for any indications as to who will be under center at New Mexico.

According to a recent interview with Nielson the way it sounds there is a good chance that at least 2 quarterbacks could see significant time. Nielson says that he isn't necessarily a fan of that approach but with the different types of quarterbacks on the roster he can foresee the platoon system being put into place.
