Iowa's post players are all freshmen: Cordell Pemsl 6'8" 250 is a true on-the-block post player. Tyler Cook 6'9" 250 more explosive than Pemsl. Ryan Kreiner 6'9" also plays mostly on the block. Doesn't play a lot, still trying to figure it out. I clearly remember Dickerson. Quickest player I've ever seen. Could be a problem for Iowa. Jordan Bohannon is a freshman and set a record for 3 pt shooting this season, but struggles keeping players in front of him. Dickerson could go nuts. He's definitely going to have a chip on his shoulder. I also thought/think Dickerson is the quickest player I have seen as well but since you watch power 5 conference basketball all the time that is saying a lot about Trey.

Could have a fantastic game, could spend a lot of time on the bench to keep him from hurting us.

To me the biggest point of emphasis is keeping our post players out of foul trouble. Do the Iowa posts draw a lot of fouls?

He'd come into a game and just start jacking up shots from all over. But man he was exciting to watch!

Tell me more about Matt Mooney. Looking at SD highlights, he looks like money. Matt Money.

Tell me more about Matt Mooney. Looking at SD highlights, he looks like money. Matt Money. Incredibly sharp shooter, don't sleep on him anywhere past halfcourt. He has a lot of very quick catch and shoot baskets from 3 and mid-range jumpers where he will be fading away or seemingly floating side-to-side and makes it anyways. Scores a lot driving the basket, but I'm not sure he can do that against the size that Iowa probably brings. Gets a lot of steals too. I wouldn't call him an all-league defender but he is great at intercepting passes. He quickly established himself as the leader of the team this year and I very much look forward to seeing him play the next couple years. As with anyone who sat out for a year he had a lot of questionable moments early in the season but is playing a lot more disciplined basketball the 2nd half of the season. He will lead us in scoring on Wednesday, just as he has 20 times this season.

I like that Iowa guy. Would someone close to the team please ensure Matt "MONEY" Mooney sticks.

Does it bother you that 10 players on your football team are rapists? minnesota.cbslocal.com/2017/01/26/hearings-begin-gopher-football-players/ Never ceases to amaze me with you goopher fans. So totally obsessed with Iowa when Iowa fans don't give two sharts about mn. I'm here to respectfully discuss the upcoming game with USD fans. Not get in a pizzing match with some gooph-ball.

Changing gears....
Game time has been moved to 8 PM! Don't tune in at 6 or you'll have to watch Syracuse I think.

Wow!. Well, Iowa averaged over 13,800 per game last year (#19 in the country), so I guess its not THAT surprising. Although, often a large conference school in the NIT is disappointed, and attendance suffers. Obviously not the case here. Will be a tough environment!
