crank your speaks up because the audio is almost nonexistent. I had to use headphones to be able to hear it. The podcast also interviews Wessel and Streveler and are pretty entertaining.

Being down at USD for last years game, you could tell Coach N has upped the talent level. The defense needs some work, especially the run defense but with Streveler (sp) this year, the offense should move the ball.
If the defense is improved this year, USD is playoff contender.
USD has had some growing pains but the I-29 corridor with UND coming into the conference, the power will/has already shifted west in the Valley.
I've been hard on the Coyotes the last few years but they are on the rise and I like Coach Nielson, he is good one.

bisoninnymn,
Thanks for chiming in. There are many fans hungry for success and it would be nice if Nielson could be the beginning of sustained success. It seems like for decades now that when the Coyotes became good or had hope that it never seemed to be able to become a trend. The closest the Coyotes got was during Meierkort's tenure when the team was pretty good for about 3 years in a row but that is about the longest time frame that the team has been good. I know many will say that was because the Jacks and Bison left the NCC and looking back those people probably had at least a little bit of a point. We need to be a competitive program for the long run and I think if that happens the Coyotes can up their average attendance to over 10K per game and maybe reach 12K after stadium renovations.

So, when it comes to the D-line. Do we have any idea the status of Ethan Roth, Max Frank, and Jake Richardson? No mention of any and all absent from roster this fall.

Ethan Roth career ending injury and Jake Richardson left the program for personal reasons and trying to go to school close to home. Don't know about Max Frank.

Just booked my hotel for the Drake game. Never stopped the car in Des Moines before, looking forward to the game and then seeing what's downtown.

Maybe KWSN can get down to Vermillion next year for media day instead of missing it for the 2nd year in a row. Yesterday was brutal listening to the lovefest for the Jacks all afternoon.

I see I wasn't the only one to catch that The only reason I kept listening is because they would throw out some tidbits of info about other teams and the occasional "and let's not forget about USD..." Yeah, sure.

What stops that is to give them a sound beating for a period of time. This yer would be considered an upset, but I think it will happen. Then the playing field starts leveling off.
