Question - is it weird that there are fewer posts for game 8 at this point of the week than there was for game 8 last year? Because, if no one has noticed yet, the team is having a great year and fan interest seems way up, so.... Apples to oranges. If you remove all of the "fire the coach" posts from last year its about even.............

Liked Bob's quote, it's the perfect message. I pretty much said the same thing in the ISUr thread after the game. That's one reason I'm not commenting much on this game. We all know what needs to be done. Not really interested in talking about it, just seeing it done.

Jake was in uniform against Indy St and maybe took a couple snaps, but was not in uniform against Illinois st.

Agreed. I saw him in uniform but never saw him go into the game. But box score says he did.

SIU has only given up 3 sacks this season. Need to get some pressure on them to force some turnovers.

Agreed. I saw him in uniform but never saw him go into the game. But box score says he did. He played a series at the end of the ISU Sycamore game at DE.

Something I noticed rewatching the last game, our hurry up offense wasn't as fast. Perhaps by design, but early in the season there was 0 chance for tv to do a replay, this last game they really didn't have that problem. Might be nothing, but just something I noticed.
Can't wait for Saturday!!

I think they have a tendency to slow down when they get off schedule. Which happened a lot last week. When they are getting yards on every play, is when I think they go about every 12-15 seconds.

Ggaaammmmeeeee TTTIIIIIMMMMMMEEEEEE!!!!!!! ...your Thursday night is our Friday as tomorrow is travel day!!! So looking forward to seeing the Coyotes right the ship. After a week of thinking about last week, it was a culmination of small things that coast is the game and I'm positive you'll see a team determined to make yet another statement. Not to say it's going to be easy, but i think the boys are going to be as focused as they've ever been this year. LET'S PACK THAT DOME AND SHOW SIU USDs 12th MAN!!!
I have to cook some food so the other kids that are staying home have some premo leftovers but will be back posting more later... but in the meanwhile...

Gotta love TBSD's enthusiasm. It's contagious. I think he must drink a lot of coffee, or maybe spike his coffee with red bull. That could you going! As you said, do appreciate the enthusiasm too.

A win tomorrow virtually guarantees us a playoff spot. I'm calling this one a must win. I do not want us to have to clinch our playoff spot at UNI, at NDSU, or in the circus against SDSU. We could very well lose all three of those games. We could also win them, but business has to be taken care of at home against our weakest remaining opponent.

There is no way a 7+ win MVFC team doesn't make the playoffs. Hard to imagine a scenario where we don't win at minimum 2 of the last 4 games, despite the difficulty.
