Some bulletin board material for our defense. On the bunnies site the overwhelming conclusions are they respect Strevler, but think they will light up our defense. Boys, time to show them how wrong they are about our yote D!!! A rivalry game, a game you guys need to win to be in the playoffs, and your defense needs motivation from opposing teams fans on the Internet? lol Nope, just adding to the list of reasons to crush your bunnies.

No one else has had nearly that much success against our defense. Can SDSU play the with the same physicality? We've been strong against the run and pressuring the QB all year but couldn't win anything against their line.

Statistically speaking it wasn’t that much of an aberration. In conference play the two times your defense gave up less than 28 points were winless Indiana St and an SIU team who lost their QB and best offensive threat. Your defense has had five games in conference where they gave up over 28 points. I’ll compare them to the SDSU defense since it’s relevant to this week and nobody (including me) considers the SDSU defense to be very good. Probably mediocre at best. Vs ranked competition: Vs YSU: SDSU 19 USD 28 Vs WIU: SDSU 24 USD 33 Vs UNI: SDSU 38 USD 34 Vs ISUr: SDSU 24 USD 37 Vs NDSU: SDSU 21 USD 49 Basically long story short vs good competition the USD defense tends to give up pretty big chunks of points, even before a gaggle of your DBs went out. Having so many DBs out isn’t a great thing to have against our offense indoors.

it's actually rather easy with the coyote D. they are in the dome and that will make a big difference. Much bigger than it really should. Maybe the Coyotes are just mentally beat down and have lost confidence. Ya never know but the Coyotes will most likely to have their A game on saturday. They cant play their D or F game because they left that in Fargo.

The dback fiasco definitely doesn't help. Yours seems to be more passive, bend, don't break. Whatever works...arguments can be made for both styles. I won't go into statistics, I'm too old for that crap and it makes my eyeballs bleed. I could refer you to coyotefan if you want that kind of discussion.

I'll agree that the Yotes seem to be high risk/aggressive and the Jacks may have the bend don't break mentality although an argument can be made that the Jacks mentality is changing. It'll be an interesting chess match in the trenches between our O-line and your D-line...I just can't see anything that shows me that the Coyote D-line is any more physical than the Bison or ISUr for our O-line. I guess that'll be the matchup to watch.

Holy S***...is it Saturday yet? Will be a long week on here.
Here is a crazy, unbelievably bold prediction: Whoever wins the battle in the trenches, wins the game. Boom...Dont @ me

Yea! Bunnies fans on our fanboard! Everyone's favorite! Yeah, they're back, I was beginning to wonder if SDSU had raised their testing standards, but no, different day, same BS. I guess it's time consuming organizing the "Fire Stig" campaign during your National Championship season.
