Not sure where to put this information, but this is interesting. Coach Fischer road the recruiting of Coach Neilson and his staff to 2 successful seasons. After looking at this years recruiting class and the inability to recruit Chicago and the suburbs, I figured he might be looking to take his success and move on the FBS. WIU now needs to rebuild after 3 subpar recruiting classes and big losses to graduation. Fair to say this is a program with the arrow pointing down.

Interesting considering my impression is that graduate assistants do most of WIU's recruiting. I'm sure budget has a lot to do with it but it's no excuse. They'll reap what they sow. |

That seems like a lot less turnover than the last few years which is great to see. It does hurt losing a LB though. We were thin this year and need to target some for the next signing day. |

great move by Nielsen to rename Godsey to Dalton Godfrey and slide him back in the roster.
Hopefully some guys like Matthew or Joanis are ready to see some time at LB. Seems like those 2 names came up alot when talking about recruiting/young talent.
Good to see all that size at R-FR. Going to pay dividends over the next 4 years.

One more missing is DB- Brandon Colpitts. I noticed there were no new additions. I assume this is because they cannot be added until the semester begins, so I expect to see a few additional names added including any JC transfers, any early graduate Freshman, and any others such as Marchalo Judge? I also noticed there is no WR coach on the coaching roster, so that change is still to come as well. Also absent on the coaching roster are Defensive Quality Control - John Litrenta and Grad Assistant - Zach Parrella

Another very good RS LB the Coyotes have is Kolade Amusan who was All-Conference, All-Metro & All-State at Woodbury HS in MN (a suburb of St Paul).
