There were some over there making fun of our football facilities. Ironic since there was construction being done on the outdoor practice turf as the game was going on.
One guy made fun of our weight training facilities. Must not realize we've built one of the nicest weight facilities in the upper Midwest.
The Dome was an easy target. The turf is like what one of them has in their garage, never mind the turf is just a couple years old, is state-of-the-art, and newer than the turf at the Fargodome. Not to forget the millions in stadium upgrades that will start this spring. But we don't put enough resources into football.
New track complex, new soccer complex, new basketball arena, new athletc training facility, and now Dakota Dome renovations. Personally, I think it's just jealousy. We've got all that on campus while they are simply tenants in their building.

Honestly, I was really surprised by the attitude. Some were sounding like bunny people. I've never even sniffed a hint of animosity between the two fan bases until some of their postings this past week. I think you might have hit the nail on the head with your analysis and hopefully it's just a vey small sampling of their fans because they've always been a fun group to be around.

Thing is, the Bison fans I met tailgating were good people. We had a good time talking and drinking.

Outside of the game, I had a good time tailgating with the Bison fans. Their fans sitting by me were also enjoyable outside of one drunk guy, but theres always that one guy.... I always lurk on our opponents message board the week of our game and I always thought they were pretty good to be around too, but this past week on Bisonville our fans base was referred to as stupid, jealous pathetic losers, Coach Nielson is a low key jerk, our players are cheapshot assholes and our facility is a dump. Maybe it's just their jerks who post there because I was kind of surprised by this, but it might be interesting to see what they're like when they fall back into the pack. Might take awhile, but inevitably they will at some point. Most of them are alright on BV, just two or three that are chronic haters to every team. |

Most likely the few that I saw walking around wearing NDSU blankets and sombreros. They are like the middle age bunny fans that wear furry rabbit ears. They may be great fans but lets be honest you look like idiots. I will give props to the few guys I saw with the real bison hats that had horns. I have always liked those. |
