I ponied up the dough. So far the three articles were all pretty solid reviews. In summary, they were pretty complimentary of Simmons and our receivers. The big things to watch for this fall look to be the battle for backup QB, which WR'S rise to the top of our deepest unit, and if how much stronger our running backs have or have not gotten. Personally, I think our RB's could breakout with better blocking. Not being able to punch it in from the 1 yard lome at home against the bison was the most embarrassing moment of a long day. I agree with last sentence but that was last year. I think we’re a really solid club.

We should be a more balanced offense this year which will actually help Simmons in the passing game with opponents having more to look out for.

Does anyone know what kind of athleticism Goehring provides at 6'4" 240 lbs? He could be a very dynamic every down tight end if he is able to block and receive well.

From the offensive line article, it looks like the coaches really like what they have in Isaac Erbes. Also, is Alex Jensen's weight outdated or is he really only 230 pounds?

Erbes had a good spring scrimmage. Holds too much, but very aggressive and a big body. I think he’ll be good. The weight is correct on Jensen. A TE they switched to OL this spring for depth. He had s long ways to go to get to the right size.

I doubt that he is still that light, but he definitely was in the spring. He looked like a tall wide receiver playing o-line.

I fear if they wanted to move him they wasted the redshirt season he could’ve bulked up.

Gaining 60 pounds isn't that hard. I do it all the time. Oh yeah, that's not a good thing.

Weights have been updated on roster. Jensen up 30 lbs. Schultz is unfortunately not listed. Feel bad for him and BSD.

I know for a fact that weights need to be updated still. Not having Schultz hurts. He was a real force in the middle even as a true freshman.

Entirely possible the weights will be updated again. But they have been updated from what they showed in spring.

That is a real bummer that Schultz is unlikely to play. He has such a good freshman year. I hope he is able to fully recover at some point, regardless of whether he ever plays football again.

Powell, Sivils, Ferguson, Starling would be the DB’s that may be viable choices for the transition. When they update heights and weight prior to summer workouts will give us a good idea of who is a viable option. I don't see that this was ever revisited. Starling is now listed as a LB on the roster at 6-1 and 210 lbs.
