Made the mistake of going over to the Bunny Board (it's always a mistake to venture there). Predictably, there was a thread over there about the LBJ, in the smack section of course. Jacks fans don't have a clue about it and think we're whining about a retired trophy. Here's the deal, many of us Coyote fans forgot about it too. We didn't bring it up, Stig did, and he did it on regional television even commenting about how he continued to engrave scores on it. If you're engraving scores on the trophy it's still active. Your own head coach brought it up and brought it back into play, now it's time to return it. You lost. How many points did you lose off your IQ?

It might be smart to make a copy of that Midco video, in case someone makes it disappear. At least the parts of it relevant to the jug.
I can dig up all the stuff I can, but in the end, the most indesputable evidence comes straight from the horses mouth.
If only there were an amateur video editor, and huge Coyote fan out there....

A friend of mine threw this together quick. I thinks it's awesome. Excellent. The Photoshop clipping on Stig is a little rough, but it gets the point across succinctly. I like it!

*bump* Sorry to beat a dead horse, but there is literally zero excuse at this point. Not going to let this go, until we at least hear something official (one way or another). Just saying nothing, and hoping it will "go away" is the coward's way out, IMHO.
And while we are at it, the fact that the Nickel Trophy was retired is a damn shame, too. Probably because of the Indian head on one side of the Nickel, and UND's name change.
What's offensive about the Jug?

Stig should hand over the trophy to Coach Nielson at halftime of the USD-SDSU basketball game on January 19. I am guessing we will have to agree to turn down the music during the presentation.
