There is still a scholly open for either '22 or '23. My guess is they will look for a transfer center. Joy Bergstrom will essentially be in the same graduating class as Duffney and Carson, since they redshirted. I think for the right player they would make room in whichever class they needed to. But here's the thing about twitter follows. Usually when they lose a recruiting battle for a recruit, like especially with all the in-state girls going to SDSU, our staff continues to follow them on Twitter. With Ross there was no follow to begin with. So either USD or Ross wasn't interested early on. Who knows why. We probably won't ever know. Maybe its class balance, or they feel like they have enough of one type of girl on the roster. Maybe Her family are hardcore Jacks fans and would never consider USD. Maybe Coach P forgot to wipe her shoes off when she visited, and they are clean freaks. Could be anything. That's kinda what happened with Ciara's recruitment. She would have had way more offers, but she shut down her recruiting early because she wanted to play with her sister. |

She looks promising, but the coaches want to make sure that she knows how to pass inside. If she’s getting 12 rebounds a game, it tells me they don’t have a strong big on their team. And then we will be stuck with another situation like Grace, where they think they have to do it all and don’t know when to pass in or outside. Especially if you do have a big like we are going to have with Demers, and Natalie.
