Well that was nearly a perfect game outside of the first 4:30 of the 2nd half and a garbage time TD. Just absolutely ran UNI out of their dome. This team is on a roll!

The UNI player clearly had possession and the replay was conclusive so the fumble ruling was correct. The Yotes pulled the ball out after the fact. Today we don't have to worry about those typical coyote killing type calls. |

Second to our playoff win, this may be our next biggest DI win. The wins over NDSU and SDSU were fun but the post-season was out of reach in both of those situations.

Wins over Minnesota and Bowling Green are nice and get the alumni excited but this win was a statement win against one of our peers that has dominated us. From a football and season perspective this is a biggie. |

Sure seems monumental for this young team. Went on the road and smashed one of the MVFC's traditional powers. Team should be nearly top 10 in the polls and full steam ahead towards a playoff appearance. Lose against Illinois State or WIU and this win won't feel so big. Keep building. Drag everyone you know to the Illinois State game! |
