Kick coverage has been garbage today, thought the yotes have done well in that area.

The Coyotes will learn from this and be better for it. If there is a silver lining and this continues to be a blowout than maybe the Yotes can rest guys in the second half and be better for it next week if there is a next week. The game is not over yet so if the Yotes can keep NDSU at 28 maybe they can make a comeback.

It might be better to pull the plug on the game if things don't turn around soon. physically camp does not look good.

Southern Illinois lost to,Youngstown. That almost assures were in Southern Illinois is also a very realistic possibility for a first round opponent. Their resume is similar to the Coyotes. It would be a compelling game and they are trending down. |

We better hope that a blowout loss doesn’t keep us out of the playoffs. Committee might discount the SDSU victory as a fluke and say this disqualifies us when playing a top caliber team.

Getting 5 wins in the MVFC has almost been an automatic qualifier in the past. Being in this conference is an advantage in being a good program compared to other conferences. This conference routinely goes on the road and whips up on opponents. This is the SEC of FCS. NDSU is the Alabama.

On a more serious note - what do you think helps the program more to keep recruiting momentum: a playoff win, MVFC title, or a sweep of the xDSUs? If a playoff win, maybe Camp is on a very short leash today? Despite the bravado answers to the question, it appears the coaching staff is prepping for the playoff side of the equation. Camp slid or let up on plays more in the first half than the rest of the season combined, and it doesn't really look natural - he was obviously told to avoid hits. |

On a positive note many of the probably-not-worth-a-crap-bubble-teams-with-descent-records-because-they-play-nobody mediocrities from around the country are getting beat by other mediocrities today. Virtually all of the key games are going how we'd like them to go. I disagree with all the pessimism here. One stinker, especially to NDSU in Fargo, isn't going to keep us out of the playoffs. Obviously never happen, but it sure would be interesting if every team in the MVFC got into the playoffs. I don't think anyone would embarrass themselves.
