You are often right on this board. So you are allowed to be wrong on this one.

The real reason we played so well in this game.....
A visit from a "good luck charm" before the game

Considering that the best chance to go to the NCAA tournament is to win the Summit League tournament it is important that depth is developed soon. When they are looking at needing to win 3 games in 4 days with the finale likely coming against SDSU it would be well served to play more bench minutes.

No one said depth wasn’t important. But go back and check the box score from the SLT 2 years ago against SDSU. They played the starters almost exclusively. Frederick played quite a bit rotating with Sjerven and was 6th woman of year and essentially a 6th starter. Liv played 5 minutes. Duffy played every second. Point being that they usually cruise to victory on Saturday, then a day off. Then they have a game Monday. Sometimes they cruise in that one, other times not so much. But when it gets to the biggest games, you shorten the bench. That’s just what happens at every level. Mazurek will get minutes. Larkins will get minutes. Jeniah will get minutes. They’ll work Hansen in. Geubert will get minutes situationally. But not as many in games like last night. s3.amazonaws.com/sidearm.sites/goyotes.com/documents/2020/8/28/32_SDSU.PDF

You are often right on this board. So you are allowed to be wrong on this one. I think in most games, contact across the chest like that is a foul. In this game, however, they were letting them play. If they call that a foul (in this game), Hannah has 2 or 3 fouls during the course of the game instead of zero fouls. This game was really physical down under the basket and I think we all prefer to let them play rather than have all the bigs sit out minutes in the first half. They called this like a men's game, which they should.

Offensive player creates the initial contact with her off arm. Not a defensive foul. Sorry guys.

Offensive player creates the initial contact with her off arm. Not a defensive foul. Sorry guys. The contact was created by the defender getting to the spot on the floor second. Offensive player is allowed to use their off arm to guard their space (notice off arm is NOT extended). Any possible foul was chest to chest contact that moved offensive player away from the glass as she was moving toward the rim. Watch the play again. As I said earlier, in the context of this game, I dont think it was a foul.

Creighton, #33 in the current NET ranking, knocked off #20 NET Arkansas 81-72 in Bentonville tonight. Makes our quality win all the better.
