I assume that usdcoyote is referring to Karly Jusczak, who committed to Idaho in November, 2023 per this Idaho Vandal website article. If it is her, she doesn't have to enter the portal, but I believe Idaho needs to release her from her LOI.

I would think it's the all time leading rebounder in Pine City, MN history. Committed to kearney then followed coach out to Idaho. She's not going to want to stick around idaho without the coach she followed out there. Is she in the portal? x.com/Gerard_Coury/status/1652773006748311553

She looks pretty tough. Scored 63 in a game once and had a 40-point night where she hit 8 3's. Can obviously rebound and grew up with a bunch of older brothers. I think she'd be a really nice addition.

Reminds me a little bit of some Irish cousins of yours…..

She was rated 31 in prep hoops for class of 24 in Minnesota . That's where Division 2 players are 3 going to Sioux Falls above her . But our coach recruited her so maybe she feels she should take her which I dont have a problem we can red shirt her and she might be a good player for usI like her height

With a coaching change, she does not need to be released from her NLI. It is the same rules as for the transfer portal. Also, if she played on the North Tartan EYBL team, and she’s being recommended by Gerard Coury, I would trust that she’s a good get for South Dakota.

She looks like a very athletic 6'1", can knock down 3s, block shots and is stoutly built!
Great add!!

In any event, Miah is still listed. Maybe Natalie is still listed because it is possible she stays? We can only stay tuned. You have to admit, this has been a pretty exciting off-season. Natalie isn't staying. Going to big 12. I'm quite surprised by the level. I think she has some P5 skill level with shooting, but I think it's going to be real difficult for her to defend and rebound with Big 12 posts. Wish her well.

RE: Jusczak
From what I saw she's obviously strong and decent-sized. She rebounds well which almost always translates. She gets to the ball out of her area and snatches. She also has an EXCELLENT shooting stroke which can never, ever be discounted. I wonder if her recruiting might have been affected by playing as a post at a lower level in high school and "experts" looking at her through that lens. I wouldn't be surprised if Eighmey sees her as a kid who can be moved further out on the floor in college. You never know exactly how much a kid loves the game and wants to work at getting better but I think she's got a whole lot of block to build on.
As for the older brothers, I always say it almost never hurts in sports to have had some loving torment as a kid from older, stronger humans.

Really loving this add. Overall, the past couple of weeks it feels like this program has cut the anchor rope and raised the sails and we're headed for better waters!

Really loving this add. Overall, the past couple of weeks it feels like this program has cut the anchor rope and raised the sails and we're headed for better waters! Yes, I agree. Athletic bigs that can play multiple positions are hard to find... and yet Coach E just brought two good ones in the 2024 class along with her, and you could even add Hillman to that list, as she was originally a Coach E find. I mean, these are all girls from our normal recruiting region, too. Kids who have families that can go to lots of their games. Great recruiting, regional focus, Great experience and track-record coaching, a style that has been the Coyote's M.O. in the Summit, and has won us championships in the past, .... Hard not to feel optimistic, at this point. I won't expect a 1-year turnaround, but I do think in this league it would be hard not to win a lot of games with Grace leading, and a renewed focus on defense.
