Unofficial visit for ACB.  I'd love for ACB to play in a Yote uniform. I like her highlight reel, but also I'd just love to see another Native athlete from SD succeed. There are lots of complex reasons you see great HS athletes on the reservation in basketball and track, but almost never see those kids at University. They are fighting an uphill battle. Here's an old YP&D article that discusses it in detail: LINKOur own Chad Lavin was recruiting SuAnne Big Crow to Wyoming back in 1992 when she was killed in a car accident. She had so much potential. One really good thing that points to ACB's potential success at the next level is her 4.0 GPA. I'll be watching her recruiting. |
