Bracketology this morning has USD as a 10 seed. I would be just fine with that. I had 11 or 12 in mind after the title game, but admittedly haven't looked around to see if that made sense.

At one point Creme had us playing Florida in Waco, which is a good matchup. Today's bracket has us playing Kentucky in Austin. I think we remain a 10 seed and let's hope we avoid a team that is hot coming into the tourney, like Kentucky.

Georgia or Ole Miss would be tough draws, too. |

I’d be cool with Florida, UCF, FGCU… the Florida teams, basically. Looks like most of our potential opponents are from the South, which generally means they will be athletic.
Good thing we scheduled to prepare for that. Will still pose a challenge.

Looking at Ole Miss schedule seems like a tough draw. Only two losses to unranked opponents - Mississippi State and Belmont (at their rivals, and a tough mid-major in the first game of the year).
Austin isn't the worst place to get to. Hope we have a good crowd making the trip.

I really don't hate the draw. Looking at their roster, they have one behemoth at 6'5" but other than that, they look like we should be able to match up. It always seems like we draw a team where every starter is taller than Hannah. If we shoot decent, I think we have a pretty good shot

I think this is a winnable game. Our game against Mississippi State is a big reason that we started to schedule the non-confererence schedules that we have has the last couple of years. We play the lock down defense we have played this year and we will take care of Business in Waco. Our Ladies are a tough and resilient group and I look forward to dancing at more than one game.
