First of all everyone needs to thank the ticket office employees and support staff on the incredible job they did just getting the tickets processed. The arena does not use TicketMaster or any other endorsed ticket outlet. These people had to process everyone of the ticket orders that were placed. They were still at it when I went to my room last night around 9:30.
They were not told in advance of all the issues they were going to encounter. They got it figured out and worked their tails off to make it happen. So kudos to them. As you can imagine there’s been a lot of people coming out of the woodwork wanting ( demanding ) tickets at the best seat available. It’s great that our fan base is excited but see it from their end, hundreds of people with unrealistic expectations demanding a lot.
My guess is after the Tennessee / Louisville game a fair number of people will leave and our fans will be able to migrate down to lower seats.
In closing a sincere thanks to Derrick Sheppard and Jarren Duffy and a couple of hours for busting your asses to appease our fans. You were exceptional. People sincerely need to send an email to these guys thanking them.
I’m at the team hotel. The mood is loose and confident. People are pumped and of course Dawn is Dawn. She has won the locals over in a big way. I see the natives cheering for red. I like our chances. It’s not a given but it’s in the realm of reality. We belong.

I guess, if the arena felt that a GA style would work in the lower bowl, I'm not expecting many seats to be filled. Confusing that the upper bowl is assigned. I can't imagine ushers are going to be fighting the thousands of fans we've got there though.

Exactly the message I have tried to share, but you did it much more eloquently. The "demand" part is unfortunate as many of the people demanding have been to very few, if any, games in recent years. I.truly appreciate all the USD fans in Wichita and really hope that we see them next season at a game. Even better, become a Howling Pack member! Go Yotes! #LFG

Having Lamb on the bench for about 7 minutes has been rough, and we finally have a deficit for the first time. That stretch could have gone worse for sure.

My dream of stresslessly dancing through the whole tournament is dead. Kind of a rough first half. Still up 26-24 at half. First one to 50 wins.

For those in attendance, the TV crew actually researched USD this time. And they have made constant reference to your presence.

Having the worst fomo watching at home.
Any guessing on number of coyote fans? They look engaged and sound loud on tv. Let’s finish this!

No doubt about that. Things didn't go our way tonight and we still hung tough. Foul trouble and their perimeter length did us in. We've got nothing to hang our heads about and we should be excited about the future. The experience 3 freshmen got in this tournament will be invaluable. Let these four seniors hang the banner and let's reload. Hopefully we can keep Dawn around. She will no doubt be in high demand after this run.

Sea of red. This was really a fantastic experience win or lose. Didn't turn out the way we had hoped, but did we ever have a presence. I talked to some Tennessee fans in our hotel, and they couldn't believe how many people we had attending. I'm curious what it looked and sounded like on tv. Regardless of rivalries it showed that basketball in the Dakotas is legit and the fans are phenomenal as shown year after year at the Summit League Tourney. Biggest loser by having the Yotes eliminated is the Wichita Chamber of Commerce. Hope they enjoy the dozens of Michigan fans for the next two days.
