Her son playing here for USD I think will keep her here for a couple of years at least. Hopefully she'll be like Aaron Johnson and stay because it's where she is happy and belongs.

We as Coyote alumni and fans need to do our part to make it hard for Dawn to leave. Cheer on our young ladies, support the howling pack, and most importantly, SHOW UP TO THE GAMES!!!!! If we do our part I do feel like Coach P will stick around for awhile. SD basketball can be big time women's basketball, we just need to support it. Many of the major programs don't get the support we have, we just need to keep it growing and going.

Anyone else hoping hoopsmom doesn't enter the transfer portal to some WNBA team? =) It has been refreshing to have a parent on these boards that isn't here to bash coaches or trash the program because their kid doesn't get enough playing time. Usually when a parent ends up here, they're looking for an echo chamber for their misery. |

If there is 1 thing the Wichita trip taught me, is fans can make a difference even in an upper bowl. I don’t want to hear any more whining about SLT tickets and upper bowl. I was in the upper bowl last Saturday. We were sitting with other Coyote fans. If we fill the upper bowl at the Premier Center, we can match anyone’s noise level and make it a 50/50 crowd rather than the 80/20 State/U we saw in the MBB semis.
