Part of our problem is that we aren't great at anything offensively. Hard to tell if it's the players or coaches who should be to blame. We have nothing to hang our hat on when things get difficult. We're not physical enough to play with the bison. We're not fast enough to play with Montana. A 5th place valley finish is probably our ceiling. Mediocrity at its best. I know why we schedule a game like this but we're not good enough to compete at this level. Sad but true.

Someone watch the game later and tell me if they are blitzing to our running backs side 90% of the time. Because we slide our protection away from the running back all the time. Tendencies like that get you beat everytime!

We have the players, we don’t have the coaches willing to adapt. Bob isn’t helping his case to be kept on if he continues to keep Camp in the game. You’re down 22 - 0 throw in the backup already.

Everyone going to pat Camp on the back for the catch down the middle to set up the scoring drive, but the TE absolutely bailed him out with an unbelievable catch on a dumb decision again. Run the damn ball and pick up 15 yards.

We on the other hand clearly have some items to work through before we can even think about the playoffs. These first two games feel like we’ve regressed from last year instead of progressed. |

Well that was bad. Lot of missed opportunities on offense. We convert a couple 3rd downs and it's a ball game.

We all know areas where improvement is needed so I'm going with positives (except 1 thing).
Great hole on Travis' TD run and really nice spin move to get in!!!
And we scored!!
Great INT by Myles!!!
Great 4th down stop sacking who is supposed to be their all world QB!!!
No KOs returned!!!
Really good punting (esp 50 yder from deep in our end zone!!).
A lot of great individual plays too numerous to mention!!!
OK The one REALLY DUMB coaching thing. When the game's not winnable deep in your territory with a minute left don't give up a safety and risk getting the QB injured. Run a draw or off tackle instead---just use common sense!!!!

Aiden Bouman. Why not? A four star, Iowa State transfer sounds pretty good at the moment. Carson is the same qb he was last year, okay, just okay, it seems like the game moves to fast for him sometimes. His "scrambling" looks flashy but it never ends in a play being made, it just buys him a little more time before under or over throwing his receiver. Watching the backfield and our defense bail him out every week is getting old.

Lots of negatives to go around so I’ll not pile on. Just kidding. But I’ll be specific in my criticism - for god’s sake don’t ask Camp to run the option! The kid isn’t fooling anyone. Two steps and pitch. Skip the two steps. He can’t run down the line.
