Watching that performance then seeing sdsu win at ndsu to move to #1 in the nation is almost more than I can take. What a miserable f'ing weekend. How bad is Bauman looking in practice for us to not give him a try? I don't mean to put this all at Camps feet, this was certainly a team effort on offense to look that bad. Receivers, line, and play calling all had a big hand in that offensive showing we had.

Camp isn’t accurate enough. OL doesn’t block well enough. A buddy in a chat last week said, “hippos my ass, they’re more like manatees. They look way too fat, can’t move, and have poor technique.” Play calls slow coming in leading to all TO’s in 1st half burnt, delay of game penalties, false starts, just a sh*t show wasting great defensive efforts.
No clue if he is HC material, but would hate to lose the defensive staff so how about TJ for HC? I like Warren as RB coach. We need new OL coach & OC. Doubt that new TE/Special teams coach is back no matter what. I don’t know much about WR coach. But hard to retain anyone other than Warren. RB certainly aren’t the problem.

It isn't Camp, it isn't coaches. It is bodies. USD hasn't the bodies to compete at top of FCS. They might be salty in the OVC, SoCon, NEC, Patriot League or Pioneer League. Actually would be leaders in those leagues. But, without the bodies to go along with the brains the top of the MVFC, Big Sky or CAA, no matter the coaching, is out of reach. Find a way to recruit the needed fat boys up front.

Tell me that NDSU or sdsu really dominated us physically. I can't say they did. Our physicality on offense and defense against all MVFC teams this year really hasn't been sub par. Our skill positions however barely exist, which makes life harder on everyone, causing late collapses. We returned most of the guys from a team that was successful last year. They look terrible now. That has to be coaching. Happy D Days!

It’s time to pull the plug. We cannot afford another season under this coaching. This is year 7 and it looks like year 4 under Glen. Two winning seasons since the move into The Valley…. Two winning seasons in 11 years.

Again a very good effort by the defense to keep us in a very competitive game only to be let down by a junior high offense. The game management is atrocious, the play design and sequencing is abysmal, and most important, the ball NEVER touches the hands of the most explosive players in our offense except for Theis. Even the announcers on the ESPN3 said it early in the first drive. How the hell does Elidor or Bell walk out of a game and not be targeted except on 1 or 2 plays a game? My ass Bell had a chance to catch that high corner route, he had to sprawl out Superman style to even make an attempt to catch that deep ball that was supposed to be thrown high not flat towards the sideline. We are hiding Camp and that is no way to run or call an offense. If you can’t trust your QB, line up in the Wing T and run it every down and pray and hope your defense can hold up in a 10-7 ligament every week. We are doing these players a disservice on both sides of the ball. A defense that is playing their tails off and an offense that is elementary. Let the WR coach call the plays, he was an offensive coordinator prior and I’m sure knows how to use the talent on the field.
I disagree 100% with the notion that we don’t have the talent. Maybe not to handle NDSU or SDSU right now at all 11 positions. But the talent on this roster can definitely win in this league and be in the upper tier except for our QB, OL, and DL except for Gaes.

Two winning seasons in 11 years. I do hope we will soon see the end of the Nielson era. For everything we have provided, he has done an average job, at best. I believe he mentioned retiring at USD early in his tenure. He may have started retirement a while ago.

Just reading the tea leaves, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a mass exodus of players especially at the offensive skill positions. Just hunch.

I agree with most of what's been said. We have a lot of very talented players that will hopefully stay as various changes are made! The portal doesn't always work out for a player. I know at least one that is getting zero playing time with another team.
On top of everything else it was one of those games--
Their fg was going wide rt and hooked in by a yd and a half, our fg was wide rt by a yd, we had several plays going for a first 1st down or more and they caught the heel of our player, I didn't like our last punt but it barely hit on the line or we down it inside the 5, the officials really struggled which definitely hurt us more, etc...
Most frustrating thing for me is huddling up, breaking huddle consistently with 12 seconds or less then having to take a time out or getting a delay!! Very poor planning, communication and execution!!
No one feels sorry for us so we better not either!! Just keep chopping wood and get better!
Go Yotes!!

I don't know where everybody thinks this talent is on the roster. I don't see a single player on our offense that would start for state. That tells me all I need to know. Get a new staff top to bottom and hit the transfer portal hard. Follow MoSt's strategy.
