Anyone notice that there are no "Game Notes " up yet and it's Thursday. Definitely unusual. Wonder if it’s just a function of crossover season and games on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday stretching staff thin? |

Anyone notice that there are no "Game Notes " up yet and it's Thursday. Now posted. I heard that Coach Nielson's father passed away this week. Tough timing, but some things are more important than football games. Wish him peace and comfort in dealing with this. |

It's a terrible nickname. I understand why you can't go back to Sioux, which befuddles me after watching the Central Michigan Chippewas play last night, but there has to be something better than Fighting Hawks. Lame. The last 2 minutes of that half. Good grief. We get the ball back with time to go down and put points on the board. One penalty and Nielsen clammed up and started coaching not to lose. The third down doable but he runs the clock all the way down then wildcats ahead for 3 yards.

Special teams can lose games very quickly. Today is evidence of that. The worst part is, most of it is just attention to detail. |
