Did not see that he left? That would be a major loss if he is leaving. He surely was the most experienced coach we had and he was able to stay level headed. Probably was under utilized this past season. Where is he going? If he is taking a better or bigger job I understand but if he is making a lateral move it surely has me concerned about the Women’s program. Hopefully he is not going anywhere.

Not a huge loss imo and welcome news if true. Kayla needed a body for the staff when hired and he filled it. He had experience but if you go back and look at his experience it’s not that impressive or valuable to a program like ours and to a fresh coach like Kayla.

I've been told that Coach Ty is going to Pitt to be an assistant for one his longtime friends.

This was well-known in Vermillion for a couple of weeks. I didn't know Ty but have had others tell me that he was very well-liked by the players and the community, as was Julie.

Well I guess time to hire an assistant. I am hoping the administration opens their pockets and pay an experienced coach to help the program. The staff in general is very young and through their careers have done more losing than winning. I have no names currently but Chloe is an interesting name and incredible person but may not be the person this program needs currently. I surely may be wrong but we gambled hiring a head coach with no experience as a head coach now we need to make sure she has what she needs to develop and be successful. The good news is the Summit league is not very good. It should be rather easy to get to second place in the conference so I in reality our sights need to be on SDSU. And what it takes to beat them on a regular basis.

He was the lead assistant so they will be looking for someone with some experience.

We getting beat by State recruiting in SD the 2024 class was bad for us I think someone like Chloe could help us recruiting in the state the other 2 coaches we have have head coaching Experience. Coaches who stay only one year does not help us. Madison McKeever is another name

While I would love to have Chloe or Madison return to help coach we do need to be realistic. They’ll get their chance someday but they need to both gain exposure at the lower levels and build their circles. Madison is doing that currently at UST under Ruth and is gaining some valuable knowledge from her. We need someone with program building winning experience on this staff.
