Obviously 2 home games & 1 road game to play before SD State comes to town on October 28, but the number of available tickets is rapidly decreasing. If you have any USD family or friends that are considering going to the game, they better grab their tickets before they are gone.
Until then, Happy D Days & Geaux Yotes
PS Remind all to stay until the final second ticks off the game clock.

There are 182 tickets left for SDSU game, of which only 34 are between the 20's. 109 of the 182 are in Section R, which were the best seats in the Dome for the last time the Bunnies visited the Dome Get your tickets for this game before they are gone and while you are at it, grab a few tickets for the game against the Youngstown this Saturday and bring a big group to the game.

I saw that it's sellout now. Also, no more Corn Showdown. Interstate Bank declared it the Interstate series or something.

I saw that it's sellout now. Also, no more Corn Showdown. Interstate Bank declared it the Interstate series or something. Wow. I guess that just shows how silly it is to name the rivalry with Corporate sponsorship, given that the name goes away when the sponsor goes away. *eye roll* Not only is naming the rivalry after a highway lame, it's actually inaccurate to call this an "inter-state" rivalry when it is actually by definition an "intra-state" rivalry. (since it is within the state rather than between two states). Ironic, no? If only we had some kind of historic object related to the rivalry we could name it after. Something that's been around for, oh I dunno, 96 years or so.... x.com/salzmanstudios/status/930513869981798400?s=20

I say again the best choice is a Mt Rushmore trophy with the faces carved in a chunk of MR granite!! Beats the heck out of some dumb marker.
I think we need a poll which is beyond my capabilities.

Heard a rumor that ESPN was on campus in vermilion this week scouting potential locations for Game day in 2 weeks. Have any of you guys heard anything?
Just about didn't happen but you guys picked up a big win yesterday that makes our game even bigger. The winner all but guarantees a seed and if they take care of the rest of their games you are looking at a top 2 seed. As much as I didn't think or want to think you guys are for real you are and have been taking care of business.

If there is going to be an FCS game on game day this year it’s going to be this one. Should be a top 5 matchup against in state rivals and the only loss being to 20th ranked (and after next week will be even higher) and one loss Missouri. The other thing helping it is there are only two top 25 matchups. #9 Oregon vs #14 Utah and the other one is #16 Duke vs #21 Louisville. The just did an Oregon game this week and they were at Duke a few weeks ago. Duke also plays Florida state this week so may not be a top 20 team next week and Utah plays USC so they may also be ranked lower.

I understand the rationale and would be great exposure but I just haven’t heard a word about it. Stranger things have happened

Montana St plays at Idaho on October 28 and they were 2 and 3 in last weeks polls. My guess was that if ESPN was to take Gameday to a FCS location this year, it would be for this game in Moscow, Idaho. However, Idaho got beat by Montana last night, so there is a small chance Gameday could end up in Vermillion. If it were to happen, this would be the obvious location:

I'd bet it's at Utah, or whichever random SEC schools they want to promote.

I'm torn on whether or not this is a good thing for the program. The Yotes need something to bring fans back to the program, but the last thing I need is to see Corso wearing a rabbit head in front of the dome. We have a hard enough time recruiting in our own backyard, having national media talking about how great state is won't help that.

The possibility of College GameDay coming to Vermillion is the worst-kept secret in Vermillion. I didn't want to break that news on here but since it's come up I can say that I've heard things from multiple people that are good sources that preparations have started to be made by the university, city, and ESPN for the _potential_ appearance in Vermillion, dependent on both teams winning this week. There may be other dependencies in play as well that I'm not familiar with.
I first heard this was a possibility the morning of the D-Days game.
