Does anyone know what is going on with the ticket situation for this game? Tickets went on sale to the public last week Wednesday, but now suddenly there are WAY more tickets available today and they are really good seats. I am seeing seats availaable in the first 5 rows in between the 40s. My guess is the public date for season ticket holders to renew was fake, and the athletic department has ended their campaign to get those ticket holders to buy their seats. It is a very confusing deal with tickets near the field. I feel like I have great seats, I am a season ticket holder for 10 years, but every week I am surrounded by empty seats or people deciding to occupy them. No idea who is buying these seats to attend approximately 0 games. Maybe they belong to sponsors? It is either people who go to the Coyote Landings to watch or an opposing team buying them for one game every other year. |

I do like the analysis that the previous locker-room quote came from, though. Somebody took some time to watch film, and actually did a nice long detailed analysis. You guys that know a lot more about the game than me should go check it out... The only problem is that the author's conclusions don't really line up with the data, so it is just wishful thinking. I mean, he/she admits that the Yotes have big advantages on both lines, RBs, TEs, Defensive Backs and kickers. So the advantages he lists for the Hornets are QB, WRs and LBs. That's it. Sorry, but games in the Valley are won in the trenches. A little extra speed in the WR group won't be the difference in this game. Especially if you can't protect your quarterback. JMO. Bouman is going to look very good if he has some time to throw, too. And I think he will. No doubt Sac State will be a worthy opponent. It's the second round of the playoffs, not many pretenders left. But I feel pretty good about our chances. |

At least it won't count when your team loses. This is the first time ever where I can't recall multiple notable injuries at the end of the regular season. P.S. your defense gave up 539 yards to an awful Cal Poly team at home three weeks ago, before your 5 defensive injuries listed above. |

I remember finishing a season with zero RBs the final game of the season vs. NDSU one year. Good luck with that.
It's the second round of the playoffs, so teams are good. But the #2 team in the Valley isn't going to be intimidated by any team in the field.

Seems the feeling on the Sac State message board is that you've already have us beat, but in the slight chance you don't pull through you also have your excuse in place. Also, although I can't be 100% certain, I think MAYBE Missouri's offense (#8 FBS poll) also just might be as prolific as yours as well. |

Some early computer predictions: Yotes beat Hornets 24-20 (-4) Sagarin Regular method Yotes beat Hornets .........(-6) Sagarin EIGENVECTOR method Yotes beat Hornets 24-21 (-3) Massey Yotes beat Hornets 27-24 (-3) Warren Nolan RP method I have to think the Vegas line will be more favorable for the Yotes.
