Everyone who takes the time to read or post to this board knows how great a player Hannah Sjerven was. But I remember telling my friend group that we would probably look back and talk about how UNDERRATED she was, that we couldn't fully appreciate her impact.

Meyer is a force. So is Paige.

I absolutely agree with the last post. I would not say under-rated, but maybe under-appreciated. By that, I mean taking her presence for granted. She was the best center in the league, both on offense and defense. Especially on defense. The year we had Taylor coming off the bench was crazy the way they both dominated.

When it really hit home to me how good she was and what we would be losing was when she dominated three projected lottery picks in the NCAA tournament. Dominating the Summit League was one thing, but her play in those three games was incredible.

I still get upset when I think of the terrible call that fouled her out of the Sweet 16 game vs Michigan. If she was on the court the last few minutes of that game we would have been playing in the Elite 8.
