the roster is updated. Mazerick (spelling/sorry)is out as is the new girl with one year eligibility. Kiote gets his $10. Plus an assistant coach from Idaho. Yup, all accounted for except for the newest verbal commit, Karly Jusczak (Freshman). I'll assume that she will be added once she formally signs her LOI. Also Coach Amber not listed yet. Probably need to have her sign a contract, too. With Karly that puts us back up to 15 roster spots. If Mason gets on scholarship, then we are officially FULL! Full Roster Full of optimism, and Ready for Summer!  |

great lots of young talent I hope we have 3 or 4 scholarships available for the 26 class which is loaded

As it stands now, they only have one available for '25 and two for '26. But it's tough to project this anymore.

There were two girls without scholarships last year. So as of now we have two scholarships. Unless of course they give those two girls a scholarship now. But I gotta think they are still looking for a guard to help us this season.

She had some games with standout offensive numbers, but not consistently. I have a hunch that she is being brought in as a shutdown defender. Whether you are a good defender or not often doesn't show up in a standard stats sheet. There are no stats for hurries, deflections, charges taken, diving for loose balls, influencing unforced turnovers (without a steal or block), etc. Possibly like an NAA type of player. I'd love for it to have been NAA taking her covid year, but there were academic obligations. some stats:36% FG - 30% 3PT - 70% FT (37% of her FG attempts were 3-pointers) 6.6 Points/ 2.7 reb/ 0.9 steals 0.9 assist/ 1.6 TO per game (0.56 A/TO)

True. Also, we now have 16 on the roster... so someone will have to walk-on.... was hoping Coral would be put on scholarship this year.
although, that might not be true. The NCAA may be getting rid of scholarship limits in favor of roster limits. Not sure if it will go into effect this upcoming season or not, but I've read that there will be some kind of announcement June 25? Just read that from an anonymous poster on a different forum, so who knows.

What do we know about this new player? She is 5’8”. She did not score much for a starter at New Hampshire ( I think I saw 6.8 average, 8.2 as a junior but more minutes). She shot under 40 percent (33 percent her junior year), 27 from three, had about twice as many turnovers as assists (same her junior year), and shot 75 percent free throws (68 percent her junior year). Unless she is great defensively, I’m scratching my head on this one as far as what she adds.

Maybe she walking on I dont know. NH was a bad team. One thing coach had a week of seeing the girls play maybe all these young players she thinking redshirting some and adding a veteran to add some depth she does not look like a game changer
