Just got home. Whoa. Was expecting more of a game but sure was fun.

Fun day in Verm. They're always fun tho. This was the performance I've been waiting to see. SIU was beat up pretty bad with injuries, but we played a complete game and dominated it. Not a great opponent due to the team they were able to field, but we did what we were supposed to do. We didn't play down at all and opened it up early. Well done gentlemen, let's do the same thing on the road next week.

Does anybody have an attendance number today? It seemed like we sold a bunch of tickets, but that new side always just looks so darn empty. Keep winning and it'll keep filling up. Good day to be a Coyote. Time to sober up.

I don’t have attendance numbers but it’s funny you say the new side looks empty. I sit on the new side and the old side looks empty. Maybe it’s just that the place is empty?

Box score says 6706 for attendance. Attendance number for 2nd half...3000 it seemed.

It was over after the 1st quarter. We probably would have out up 60 if we weren't trying to run out the clock. It sort of felt like the early D1 days where the bison seemed to do whatever they wanted, only the shoe was on the other foot.

Anyone who has played or watched sports long enough will end up on both sides of a game like today.

It's a luxury to be upset with a 42-13 win in the Valley. There are always things a team can improve on and the Yotes are definitely improving every week!!

I actually agree at what he’s saying… we have really good talent at the skilled positions but we are not utilizing them enough…Bouman has always looked good against crappy teams. But at this level he should be more on the money with his throws, There were some unbelievable catches today but they didn’t need to be unbelievable. Too many under thrown and too many over thrown. Clean that up along with our solid running game we will be really good.

SIU secondary was as bad as it gets however.

It was a great day to be a Yote! Great weather and a fun tailgate! And a very nice MVC win! Sure, I like to bitch about things as much as anyone. QB play could be a little sharper, attendance could be better, etc. I can remember a few years back when we used to joke about our punter being the team MVP.

I control what I can control. Show up with my crew and support the Yotes! Encourage others to join us. Again, a great day to be a Yote!

I'll be happy when we win a championship. I see things through the lens of a coach. There are always things to improve upon.
