Curiously has anyone heard any names that haven't been mentioned on this thread. I don't know where to go online to find out information about coaching possibilities or coaches looking for jobs or other coaches likely to want to move up through the ranks.

Luke Fickell, Jim Tressel, Mike Stoops, Dale Lennon, Pat Behrns, Bobby Hauck Would it be possible for you to reveal your sources that these are actual candidates or did they come out of the blue. Time to do some research on these guys.

Keep in mind, there's a great chance the final list of candidates for on-campus interviews will probably be people nobody's heard of. Maybe an FCS or FBS assistant.

Since you named Jim Tressel then we could also begin talk about either CHARLES BENSHETLER or RAY MICHAELSON. They are both respected coaches in their leagues.

And how many millions are the Coyotes going to pay Tressel or Stoops?

And if you think goyotes wasn't just having a little fun with you, then I want to talk with you about purchasing the Brooklyn Bridge. All these names aren't pipe dream names. Lennon and Behrns would definately be possibilities. I personally wouldn't want Behrns because he cannot win a playoff game to save his life. He will get you to the playoffs and always disappoint thereafter. Unfortunately Lennon has been mediocre at best with S. Illinois. Tressel might seem like a reach at first glance but he has an awful lot of baggage that he would obviously carry. Would he get hired at a FBS program. I don't know if I can answer that. The UNLV head coach really struggled recently so he could definately be a possibility IMO. Maybe the Yotes are awfully lucky and a big donor stepped up to the plate that is tired of seeing the Yotes be a mediocre program. Maybe there is money that we don't know about. I will say the odds are against it but not inconceivable. Stoops seems like a bit of a stretch but I wouldn't call it out of this world impossible. The list given could be a real list because if it was a joke Behrns and Lennon wouldn't be mentioned. I have to believe that at least one or two of those mentioned could be real candidates if not all of them. Imagine next fall the Yotes are led onto the field by Jim Tressel. That would be unreal in many ways. First that it's Jim Tressel and 2nd that it's a coach that has a 50,000 pound elephant that he is tugging behind him. Welcome to Vermillion Jim Tressel

When it comes to David Sayler I am not going to discount anything. Most people thought an arena was a 10-20 year pipe dream. He has everyone convinced that this is a 2-4 year project. The Yotes somehow suddently got into the MVFC in football where it looked like it wouldn't happen for years. Now a few big names get mentioned as possibilites and no one thinks it's real. Maybe some of those names are not real but I wouldn't put it past Sayler to pull something from his bag of tricks.

Welcome to Vermillion Jim Tressel You are totally f---ing crazy if you think Tressel or Stoops would come to Vermillion SD to coach an FCS school. Oh, hold it, you are.

Welcome to Vermillion Jim Tressel You are totally f---ing crazy if you think Tressel or Stoops would come to Vermillion SD to coach an FCS school. Oh, hold it, you are. I was not the one that suggested Tressel so be carefull with the crazy accusations. It's 2000 you are in Vermillion. a Clarivoyant tells you that USD would be playing Minnesota in less than 10 years time and USD would not only just win but for a good portion of the game have a big lead. That same person told you that USD's offense would dominate Minnesota. Remember this was during a time that USD football was actually quite embarrassing as a D2 program. Would you call that person crazy. I am not saying Tressel is coming to USD. I never brought his name up in the first place. Just responding to another post that did. I swear people need to start thinking bigger than they do. It's a different era now, it's time to put away the D2 thinking. I wish Goyotes would say more than he has and if he's joking with the list to come out and say so.

Seriously, CF... Always suspected that you're not all there. Thanks for solidifying any doubts that I may have had. Fanatical overzealous fan, or delusional "dolt" as somebody previously described you. I'll take the second choice.
