if anybody is coming down, this is a crazy weekend in bay area. giants are playing game 2 at home tonight. cal vs. ucla and stanford vs usc both at home. up the road, davis and sac state homecomings. fleet week in the city. 49ers at home sunday, raiders on the road (so we can see them on TV). and, oh yeah, the napa harvest is going balls out!
just another weekend in paradise!
getting around the bay is going to be a challenge, but, it shouldn't be an issue in the sac/davis area.

Can anyone find an online video feed for this game? Was looking on the UC Davis athletic website and do not see one. If someone knows, please post.
thanks

i think you might be out of luck on the video feed. we haven't hosted one all year, just the radio feed. you might look at channelsurfing.com later, but, i doubt it. i think they need a feed (us or you) to tap into.

Thanks - that is disappointing though. Why do you think UC Davis does not have this as an option. My guess is that you have alumni all over the country that would have an interest in logging on and watching the game. Also I am positive several USD fans would purchase the game online if available and they knew about it.

i'm not sure...i don't know how expensive it is do your own broadcast, and i don't have a good idea of who many alum would buy into the package. we have some passionate fans, but, the fraction of alum/students who are fans is not a big number.
i know the BigSky televises all their games, which is exciting for us in the future.
it will be GameChannel and the radio feed for me. luckily the Sac station that broadcasts our games is a 50,000 Watt flamethrower, so i can hear it at home about 90 miles away. if you guys don't have a web radio broadcast, pick up ours...announcers are pretty good, not too much of homers.

I have actually contacted the athletic dept, media folks on campus, as well as 1140am, which is the local channel that covers the Ags. I was encouraging them to at least have satellite radio coverage for the same reason. By the way, if you want an Ag perspective on the game, you can stream 1140 on your computer. As Dr. Mike mentioned, they call it straight. I think this game is going to boil down to your QB. If the Ags contain him, we win. If we don't, you win.

What is the website for your guys' station. I am definitely up for listening to the game, but I think USD's color guy gets way to homerish for me.

Warren & RJ compliment each other very well. I think Warren helps keep RJ toned down just enough - nothing wrong with favoring the team you are covering - am guessing most listeners are Yote fans. I also think RJ has put a little more enthusiasm in Warren's approach to covering the Yotes.

My condensed analysis of USD v. UC-Davis.
If we establish the run on offense and compete on the defensive line we win 31-28.
thanks for reading

Thanks Alum,
In terms of Warren and RJ, I hate that he says we ALL the time, I mean ALL the time. He isn't part of the team, he is part of the broadcast for the Coyotes. Plus he calls a one-sided game in terms of penalties. I swear everything is the officials fault. For Warren, dude is a bit old so yeah....his enthusiasm is lacking a bit. If I can listen to a broadcast team that calls it both ways, I am going to choose that any day.

When it comes to the radio broadcast I want a play by play guy that is going to be excitable and one that might be just a bit homerish, not way over the top, just a bit. I want the color guy to be completely objective and honest about what is really happening. I need two things in a radio broadcast. I need to feel the excitement as a Coyote Fan and want that to be conveyed through the voice. I also want to have the unbiased picture painted which is what the #2 guy is for. Give it to me with excitement and give it to be straight, yikes that doesn't sound so great so how about just do a good job with the broadcast.

Almost time for kickoff. Watched the second half of UND v So Utah - ND is in tough shape. So Utah looks like it will be a battle for USD when they go out there. They looked physical and athletic.
Time for UC Davis - really wish this game was on tv or online.
The radio guys have grown on me. Will be listening tonight.
Still feel really good about this match-up tonight for USD. We will see shortly.
