Is there a list of recruits we have offered somewhere? I am just curious to see who we are all looking at for this class.

Thank you for the link, but it doesn't look like they have updated it recently.

Has anyone heard of any new potential offers, game visits, official visits, ect? Beat writers generally are the ones reporting verbals. Coaches are prevented from talking about unsigned recruits. Terry Vandrovec does a good job digging up verbals for SDSU which he sends out tweets and blogs about, but USD does not have Vandrovec covering its programs. Our Argus beat writer's last blog update online actually was written before the Montana game. No blog updates since then. Our Yankton P&D USD beat writer does a good job but has never to my knowledge done much regarding recruits/verbals.

Listened to John Thayer interview Joe Glenn on the basketball pre-game show tonight.
He really likes what he sees in the Yotes. His challenge to the players is that every one of them needs to get better in the offseason. He told the team that he knows they are going to be good because he has seen how they work and the attitude they take to their work. He touched on recruiting - they will obviously seek to fill some holes - look for some safeties and DBs to come in from JCs.
He mentioned four players currently on the roster. He is excited to get Jasper Sanders back in the mix. (I am very interested to see the RB competition as it develops). Glenn said that Cody O'Neil will be tough to replace at center, but said we are fortunate that we have Sam McLeran (true freshman center). Glenn said before Sam graduates he thinks he has the ability to be an all American lineman. That is a tall statement. Hope it comes true. I think the OL has potential to be a really salty group next year. Glenn also said we will like a kid named Jacob Warner a DB that redshirted this year after transferring to USD this year. Glenn also talked about Earls play. Said Earl started off the first couple games played well but struggled a little the last two of the year. He thinks with the experience Earl got this year he will be much improved next year.
This team will be better next year. Can't wait to see how they develop this off season.

Have heard good things about Sam Mcleran, aka Boz McLeran. Based on some tweets, he just had back surgery. Apparently it went well and he should be back in the training mode in 2-3 months. I believe he was also recruited by UNI.

Jake Leohr highlightsHope this kid accepts USD's offer. I like his highlight tape. Has offensive and defensive potential. USD offered this kid according to Rob Howe @hawkeyeinsider @hawkeyeinsider: South Dakota has offered Iowa City High SR TE/LB Jake Leohr. Schools are sleeping on this kid. Good size. Good athlete.

I agree on Leohr! Very good quickness for size, has a nose for the football on defense, good tackler, good hands and speed and can punt. Only problem would be where to use him! I think I would lean toward defense as LB or bulk up some for quick DE.
