Now the Leathernecks scored on a long drive vs what is likely a tired defense. It will be 17-3 assuming the extra point.

The people that keep telling me to keep patient, it's a long rebuilding process yadda, yadda, yadda are starting to run out of excuses. This is not a program that is moving in the right direction. More like a pinto skidding sideways into the ditch. Of course if they Yotes come back to win my comments would be for naught but regardless of how tight the final score is a loss would still be a loss.
95 yard scoring drive.

Sacked by Western Illinois and another punt for USD. The beat goes on.

Wow a fake punt and USD gets a first down. Hey Bergener just completed a pass. Maybe he should stay in and take more snaps under center.

18 yard run by their back that pulled tacklers for a lot of YAC. Another long play. I don't blame the defense here. They have been on the field way too long.

We have to at least consider a QB change for the remainder of the game. 8 for 21, for 26 yards thru three quarters, not counting Bergner's completion. Embarrassing.

I'm not rooting one way or the other, but I'll predict Earl on the next series.

I am not much of a poster, but listening to this game has inspired me....until we get a new offense or a quarterback that can run the existing offense, we will stay at the bottom of the Mo Valley standings. Defense has sounded ok, until they got worn down.

I'm not rooting one way or the other, but I'll predict Earl on the next series. Joe Glenn would rather go down with the ship than give Earl his rightful chance to see what he can do.

Waiting one week is not nearly enough time to decide that you've waited long enough on the rebuilding program. There is still zero passing game, so the running game suffers, and the defense is stuck out there all game. We aren't going to be a winning team this season, everyone knew that. Defense just got a big stop on 4th, and now Earl is coming in surprisingly.
