Amazing, as soon as Earl comes in the team generates an immediate spark. Earl hitting the bullseye on many of these passes.

The people that keep telling me to keep patient, it's a long rebuilding process yadda, yadda, yadda are starting to run out of excuses. This is not a program that is moving in the right direction. More like a pinto skidding sideways into the ditch. Of course if they Yotes come back to win my comments would be for naught but regardless of how tight the final score is a loss would still be a loss. 95 yard scoring drive. Waiting one week is not nearly enough time to decide that you've waited long enough on the rebuilding program. There is still zero passing game, so the running game suffers, and the defense is stuck out there all game. We aren't going to be a winning team this season, everyone knew that. Defense just got a big stop on 4th, and now Earl is coming in surprisingly. Surprisingly??? How bad does JVM have to get before this becomes the only real option. This should have been done a year ago so we are a year late.

Wow, that was something. I don't want to get into the Earl/JVM/Joe Glenn should/shouldn't be fired/recruiting classes blah blah blah. Let me just say it was damn nice to see all those big red arrows going down the screen resulting in 7 points. Can we all agree on that? GOOOOO YOTES!!!!

I was thinking of changing my pick to Missouri State for the Dakota Day game but if Earl is announced the starter I might have to change that pick back to the Yotes.

So much for being back in the game...let's see if Earl can keep the offense moving.

Unfortunately the defense might be too worn out to stop the Leathernecks the rest of the game. Touchdown Western it's now 24-10 assuming the PAT.

So, anyone going to turn right back around on Earl after a failed drive? Disappointing game to say the least.

I think Earl deserves at least one start to determine if the team is best suited with him at the helm. He always gets brought in when the Yotes are in trouble and coming from behind in a game. Lets give the kid at least one full game to see what he's got.

Special teams miscues
Wide receivers wide open and not getting the ball
Two other USD players passed for more yards than JVM today
Rushed for under 100 yards.
Defense was adequate but got tired keeping the team in the game after the offense went three and out.
This was a game against an equal talent team and we lost convincingly. Special teams coach should be terminated and Wes and Glenn should be too if Earl is not taking the snaps next week. Put JVM in if you want a wildcat look at times.
Teams have figured out what the USD coaches should have - JVM cannot beat you throwing. Just clamp down on the run and get your punt returner ready.

Hallelujah we have someone on the other side of the fence so I am not the only one standing there. It's amazing how Joe Glenn gets the longest of ropes during a time where almost every decision he makes appears to be the wrong one. What happened to the Northern Colorado, Montana and Wyoming coach that had so much success in the past. He certainly had to make better decisions at those times than he does now. Something is wrong with Joe Glenn, maybe he is burned out, never truly wanted to coach again or whatever. There is definitely something that Joe Glenn is not doing right. How many weeks or seasons do we have to wait before he gets his s**t together. He is not the same coach he used to be because there is certainly no way that he is or this team would have started looking better by now. If this game doesn't convince the majority we are not heading in the right direction than no other games is going to be this winnable to allow USD to look good. NDSU won a national title with a young team so I would expect USD to at least put together a competitive team on the field in the MVFC if youth is the excuse. Kevin Earl may give the team the boost they need to somehow squeeze out a couple more wins somewhere in this schedule. JVM is practically guaranteed not to produce more than one more win the rest of the way. After Missouri State the going will be very tough the rest of the way and regardless of who is quarterback we may be looking at a lot of losses.
