I don't care where they are from as long as they can play.

I'm hearing that Krull and Watson were hoping to follow Dawn to WVU, but have not heard from her yet. This wasn't any kind of collusion on Dawn's part, just them wanting to follow her. Guessing Dawn would take them if they still wanted to leave after meeting with the new coach? But that's just speculation. I'd hope that they would at least wait for a new coach to talk to them. A P-5 coach mentioned that the Vermillion job is probably less attractive w/o those two on the roster. Also hearing that this process shouldn't have taken this long. Must have had plan A fall through, and didn't have a plan B in place? Speculation on that. That's disappointing, if true. With respect to the statement "this process shouldn't have taken this long," its been 7 days. If we don't know anything by next Friday, then we can start to question things.

I think Hanson was the main recruiter on Sam, but I would imagine he is looking Power 5. Yes, I know USD isn't on the table for Sam. I was just mentioning it for perspective. Remember when we had staff that brought in kids like Greisel? It can happen again. For what its worth, Kramer looks an awful lot like Griesel...

The connection to Sam was through Thomas Viglianco, a private instructor in Lincoln. He also coached Triston. That was a connection already in place with Craig. Thomas loves Craig. Peterson being at USD should bode well for us in Lincoln/Omaha.

Craig went from $250K at UNL to $200K at USD.

These players better work out for Todd Lee. If he is going the international route and they fail it is not gonna be a popular situation. I could care less personally where these players come from if they win but I am left very concerned about the level of recruiting. Lee was an off the radar hire and these appear to be off the radar players. This season and next will be telling. If the program isn't playing at a high level by the end of 2 seasons from now it likely never will under Lee. I think that time frame is pretty accurate and reasonable. This upcoming season the players will all be his (Umude is the only exception), but generally be "new". I will understand one season of development (2020-21) assuming COVID allows for them to play, but I will have pretty high expectations for the 2021-22 season.

I think there might be one more left yet, actually. I don't believe we are expecting Khalifa Koulamallah anymore.

I would guess this is a scholarship guy. I could be wrong though.

Boogie Anderson will be a Junior. We also have a couple JUCO offers out still. Wouldn't be surprised if the next one was going to be a junior as well.

Very athletic commitment. We also have an offer out to his teammate, who is a heck of a shooter. Would be great to get both of them.

...Wasn’t Grand Canyon really interested in the Summit at one point? ... Herbster mentioned once that GCU had applied for Summit membership, but was voted down. Pretty sure that was recently. I believe that was back when they were a "for profit" school. Now they are non-profit, I think.
