Saw this from Mark Miller in Wisconsin (@wisbbyearbook) and figured I'd pass the info along to my best buddies here at goyotes.net:

I have coached Kyle. Great kid, very raw. Great size, needs work on his feet, strength, and motor. His level will be determined on his willingness to work hard, learn, and adapt. Has a ton of potential. Really hope he realizes his potentially at a place like USD. But like most kids on the Minnesota AAU circuit thinks he is worthy of a high major offer. I can see him ending up in a summit league type level. Great potential, great kid. Go yotes
As for the rosga kid. Flat out shooter right now but you can never have too many guys that can pass and shoot at a high level on your roster

Dick Engler, President at Cretin-Durham Hall, was an all state football player at SF O'Gorman in 1968. I believe he is an Aberdeen native, who later attended Northern.

Ryan James posted this late last night...
It looks like he currently has offers from Dayton, Drake, Indiana State, Lehigh, and Northern Iowa. A few other schools are looking at him. I wouldn't be surprised if SDSU followed suit with an offer soon, depending on their scholarship situation for next year.

Doing a little research here, and I'd be curious to know if any Coyote fans can fill me in.
According to Twitter, a 6'9" or 6'10" kid from Iowa, Ethan Steinbronn, committed to D2 Upper Iowa over several D1 offers, which supposedly included USD. Would anyone on here know if USD had offered him a full ride vs. a partial? I'm just trying to get a sense of whether or not Steinbronn is full-fledged D1 talent who decided to go D2 (stay close to home, get minutes right away, whatever the reason) or if it's the kind of situation where he chose a FULL D2 ride over a partial, out-of-state D1 offer.
Any info is welcome. Thanks.

I was searching online and seemed to come across something that said they could be full or partial (and immediately thought that sounded wrong), but I must have misread or maybe they were talking about something else and I wasn't paying close enough attention. Thanks for the clarification. Must just be a solid get for the Peacocks then. Appreciate the info.

Having been to Fayette,it's a miracle they get any decent recruits.

Having been to Fayette,it's a miracle they get any decent recruits. Upper Iowa has a coach in his second year who is a pretty good recruiter. I don't know if the kid is actual D-1 talent, but he had the chance. However, I feel he can flourish in D-2 and can help the turnaround of that program. Plus it's very close to home for him.

Scholarships in BB can't be split but unless something has changed, they can be less than full. Women have 15, men 13. They can scholarship that many players and some or all could be less than full. Clear as mud?

You are either on full scholarship or a walk on, clear as mud? D1 hoops you can't break it up, very simple for you so called basketball minds
